FEED-BACK ON A CRUISE WITH CROWN PRINCESS
My wife and I took a cruise on the Crown Princess from February 25 to March 17 in the Caribbean. we had a mini suite. We had sailed with several other cruise lines before, but this cruise was the first one with Princess. In short, we have been very disappointed and will not select Princess again. A few examples:
Buffet: The choice of food on the ...
We have cruised with Princess twice before and were happy with our experiences. This time we noticed all the cost cutting measures that have been taken. Ship was very crowded and priced were lowered closer to sailing. However, club class mini suite pricing was not lowered. Embarkation was great however next time I would not board until after noon. Disappointed with quality of toiletries, tissue, ...
We did the Crown for South America and loved this itinerary! The Crown looked wonderful and the staff better than ever.
Embarkation was a breeze as we are Platinum members. After a nice lunch, we were happy to see our cabin was ready and soon after our luggage arrived. Our stateroom attendant Joel greeted us and seemed anxious to make us feel at home. He would have bathrobes for us by morning ...
I chose this cruise because it had a great itinerary and length was great. We have cruises with Princess before and we’re very satisfied. Net time maybe I will pick a newer ship with Princess because Crown Princess was a little outdated... By the end of our cruise quite a few elevators were not working and with a lot of elderly on the ship it was difficult to get into an elevator. I was also ...
Great cruise line. What is not to like. Staff were all friendly, food was great, service excellent. Enjoyed all the Ports of Call as we had not been to any of them. Enjoyed our time and excursions in the ports. Enjoyed the duty free shopping. Weather was really nice. Was a bit windy at times, but still good weather. Stateroons wete decent size. Free Housecoats to use would have been nice, ...
Oh dear what a difference a few years make, not like no ago princess was one day of my two favourite cruise lines.
The cut backs are enormous, the majority of the crew need retraining in knowledge and service.
We had so many problems that were caused by poor staff and it took ages to sort out.
The cabin steward was a miserable sod (ok they have off days like all of us but not the whole ...
we were with 8 people to cruise with , wish I got a baloney.,too enclosed for me , have claustrophobic issues the rooms seemed seems too tight, i also wish the exist were marked better mentioning what dinning room you were heading for , it would of been nice to see a large floor number when you got of an elevator. , there were so many people confused on the ship trying to find where they had to ...
We wanted to visit at least 5 ports, and the Crown Princess had a good itinerary. The Crown Princess embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and fast. No waiting at all. The ship was clean and fairly easy to maneuver. We had a mini-suite on the 9th deck, Dolphin Good size, small bathroom, ok storage. Veranda does not have a cover. The veranda above can see the entire balcony. Shows were ...
Had been recommended that Princess was a"premier line", so expectations were high. Have previously sailed Carnival and Royal Caribbean. The embatcation was quick, on board in less than 30 minutes. Stateroom was ready. B748 aft premier balcony, very small compared to other lines. No sofa, one chair, small table, layout was small apart from hanging space at bathroom door where there was lots of ...
We chose the Crown Princess for the 10 day itinerary. Loved the ports and can’t say enough about how amazing each day’s activities, shows, and especially food were each day! Oh! The food....the desserts......the service!
Having been to these islands we knew what we wanted to see on them and chose excursions from sources other than through the ship. Easy on, easy off! They allow plenty of time ...
