This was our 12th cruise with Princess and very disappointing. Why ? well a principle reason for cruising is the dining and can only give the food on the Coral as "poor" it was over salted, over cooked and unappetising. Fancied doing something different and chose this cruise as we have cruised with Princess a fews times to Mexico at Thanksgiving on the Ruby and Crown.
The Coral is an old ship and starting to look a bit tired. We sailed during Xmas and NYE. It was a bit boring on both nights, but that's okay wasn't expecting Times Square but could have been a bit better.

We like cruising, and save for it for quite a while, so we kind of build up this perfect/pampered dream cruise in our mind before hand. This cruise was not perfect, but it sure beats the best day at work..

It was a great cruise. You have to take the good with the bad and not nit pick like so many do. The weather was fantastic, the ports were great. The ship overall was in good shape for her age but needed some touch up. The food was average in the MDR and I am not a foodie. The cruise directors staff was a bit young. Great way to see the Panama; the ship, crew, staff, service, entertainment and particularly the evening dinners were outstanding. The exercise equipment, and room was terrible... to crowded, and only 1 working bike and rowing machine. The Pickleball/Volleyball court not great.
