Not like the old days

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Summit

I sailed Celebrity 3 times 15 to 20 years ago. They were a notch above the others then. Not now. They are as good as any but have lost their advantage. I can say the food was great as was the staff. The bands were good but not enough of them. Acoustic singles and duos are not my cup of tea. The main theatre shows were a notch below the competition. Embarkation and disembarkation were rough and ...

We had an absolutely perfect cruise on the Summit. Our room was great, lots of storage room and a big balcony. We were in Concierge Class in room 8084 and it was wonderful. Our room Steward Belvin was a treat. He was seemingly always around with a smile on his face. He met out requests quickly and professionally. The food on board was excellent. From the MDR to the buffet to all the ...

This is a review more so of Entertainment Cruise Productions who chartered Celebrity Summit for a jazz cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. It was the inaugural sailing of Blue Note At Sea - a famed jazz recording label responsible for launching jazz legends such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Van Morrison, Nora Jones and so many more. The line up on the cruise was the elite of contemporary jazz ...

Not Too Bad

The Sushi on Five was the best of all! My mom and I ate there 3x. Blu & Qsine came in at a close 2nd and a tie. Luminae came in 3rd and Tuscan Grill was a definite NO! I enjoyed eating at the restaurants one because the Ocean View and Main Dining were NOT up to par; the choices didn't alter per night and basically we ate the same thing every meal, every day. I do not know if that is a ploy to get ...

our 25th anniversary! we wanted to do it right so we spent about $2,300 dollars including airfare for 5 nights in a room with a window (not a balcony) so we were expecting awesomeness. NOT! i will start with the crew and captain. they were awesome, so sweet, so genuine. other positives were the premium drink package. it is awesome!! vitamin water, red bulls, Evian water in giant ...

Nice Jan getaway - but I see cost cutting

Good to get away in Jan for 5 days to Key West and Bahamas. Key West was much better as Nassau had 6 cruise ships in port. What a zoo it was. Did not walk around town because you almost couldn't. Not Celebrity fault of course, just bad timing. Took a tour in a mini bus to some of the highlights of Nassau and it was not well planned. Driver asked us IF we wanted to go to a restaurant for lunch, a ...

We were a church group. Best trip with 48 people. Everyone working on the ship was wonderful. Thank you for making great Memories. We are looking forward in making this a yearly trip. The service in the main dining room and then seeing our waters at breakfast. We felt like family. Everyone went out of their way to give excellent service. Our rooms were always taken care of and were so nice to help ...

Choose this cruise because it fit into our time schedule. Enjoyed the ship very much , we like smaller ships and we wanted to go to Key West one more time. Our cabin was very nice, we had an upgrade to Aqua class, the room was about the same size as we always get, except they bring some snacks everyday, and give you a bottle of wine when you get there. We were assigned to the Blu restaurant, ...

Celebrity Review This was our 4th cruise and first time on a Celebrity ship. We´ve cruised Carnival, Holland America, and Silversea. Obviously we cannot compare Celebrity with Silversea, but for the price point we very much enjoyed the Celebrity Summit. Cabin and balcony were comfortable with plenty of space to store things. Maintained clean throughout our trip. We enjoyed the food, ...

5 Day Summit Caribbean

Good price for a short cruise. Had never been to Key West/Bahamas so wanted this experience. The room attendant was very attentive. There was a shortage of wooden hangars and we were not given any additional ones. Really enjoyed the therapy pool every afternoon. But there was a shortage of towels at the pool every afternoon. The food in Blu was excellent in the evening. Did not eat breakfast ...
