My wife and I and 3 other couples booked this cruise over a year in advance. This was our third cruise but first with Celebrity. We let Celebrity book our flights as this was not a round trip cruise and the price seemed very reasonable. There were no disappointments with the air arrangements, in fact I could have not done better had I booked the air myself. Celebrity put us up at the Marriott ...

We arrived Fort Lauderdale two days before sailing and were glad we did as there was a Pro-Football game on Sunday and about 5 ships in port hotels so the hotels were full. Some of the connection group coming in a day before sailing were moved to other hotels as they had over sold the hotels in the area. Almost everyone had to wait a hour or two for a room to be cleaned even if they did get in the ...

This was our 21st cruise & our second cruise on Celebrity. I say that only to give the reader an idea of our cruise experiences & knowledge. Service&&&I cant say enough about this ship's staff & their overall service. From the day we started this 14 day cruise we were amazed at how helpful & friendly everyone was on this cruise. It is among the best service we have ever received on any other ...

Embarkation went very smoothly. We arrived about 11:30 that morning from a directly flight from Washington DC which I booked independently from the cruise line. We did not purchase transfers because a cab ride is less that $20 for two people from the airport to the docks. Advice is to make sure that you have a passport. It will make the embarkation and debarkation go much smoothly. I traveled with ...

I can say only wonderful things about Celebrity and the Summit. Yes, it's true that the majority of passengers are older....but we had no problem relating to our fellow passengers or having a good time ourselves. (We are in our 30s.) We took the Summit for our 10th anniversary cruise and it lived up to all the planning and anticipation. The entertainment did not suit our tastes, but the Aqua Spa ...

We had a wonderful time aboard the summit- we loved the fun factory and our kids didn't want to leave! The youth staff is exceptional- they have the ability to know the kids quickly and adapt according to their different personalities. The food was less than desirable at breakfast- in the main restaurant food was always cold- my daughter had pancakes two different days that were hard. Breakfast ...

Summit Review 3/22/05-4/1/05 Overall impression of ship: Very good. Embarkation: This was a breeze even if not traveling in a suite. The lines moved quickly and efficiently the entire time I watched them. Cabin # 6099 (Sky Suite) This is a nice suite; small for a suite but well-kept and tastefully decorated. Balcony is more than adequate in size with wood flooring and wooden chairs covered ...

This was our second cruise with Celebrity and was our best of the 15 we have done. We stayed the day before at the Marriott Marina an excellent hotel with great views of the ships so we couldn't wait to go. We arrived at the terminal at 11:15 and were walking to our veranda cabin by 11:45. Embarkation was a breeze with online doc's etc.. Our cabin wasn't ready, but we were allowed to leave our ...

The Summit was everything we expected & then some. The embarkation was so fast I was shocked. We basically went through as fast as we could walk! We were of course greeted with wine and champagne and found our cabin ready and waiting. We were traveling with our 24 year old daughter who spent the first 2 nights with us until I managed to pay to upgrade her to her own inside cabin down the hall. ...

Summit's 11 night 11/15/2004 cruise to the Western Caribbean & Panama - a once in a lifetime experience. This is a long review. If you have questions, feel free to email me. I found that before booking a cruise one must do lots of research to learn the options about the ports and the cruise line as well as the particular ship. That way there are no surprises or disappointments. I stumbled online ...
