An Honest Review of Infinity 9 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise
"Celebrity has never done evening entertainment like Royal, but this was a nine day cruise and there was only one theater production show – Broken Strings.Hopefully, now that they are back in the black things will go back in the other direction and we will certainly take another Celebrity or Royal cruise again in the near future with the hope that is the case...."Read More

To give you some perspective on my observations/opinions, this was our seventeenth cruise. We have taken nine cruises on Celebrity and eight on Royal Caribbean. We are fortunate to be able to sail in suites and on this cruise, we sailed in Royal Suite 6137. Our cruise prior to this was on Apex, also in a RS and the one before that was on Anthem of the Seas in a Star Class Suite. Therefore, I ...

This was our third cruise, our third on Celebrity and our third on Celebrity's M Class having previously sailed on the Connie and the Summit. We've now covered quite a bit of the Caribbean. It was our first time in Concierge class. It was also our first cruise doing early walk-off. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale the evening before and stayed at the Embassy Suites. It was wonderful to wake up the ...

this was the second time on the infinity. The ship is in good condition; contrary to reviews I anhave read about it needing a lot of repair and update. The only issue I had was with the airconditioning. The first year the airconditioning did not work very well at all; this year there were issues that were finally resolved so made it better. I do not like garlic or onion so the mater'd was ...

We always cruise Celebrity .We like the ambiance of Celebrity cruises. Our preference was the smaller ships like the Century. Too bad they did away with that class for the bigger, BIGGER ships. The infinity is a good ship. Just not the best for me. I use a scooter. If I didn't have my limitations I would sail on Infinity again. Infinity is an older ship. It doesn't have the accessible features ...

Great Food, Service, and Halloween Too!

We liked the itinerary and staying overnight in Aruba. 3rd time on Celebrity and enjoyed all. This one really the best we've been on. Overall food was excellent, service probably the best we've had, and what helps was the fact everyone else was happy. When you have happy cruisers, everyone has a better time. The Halloween party was a hoot! Lots of costumes, great party, excellent cruise ...

The Dining Experience in Celebrity is going downhill

The Dining Experience in Celebrity used to be the highlight of the cruise. However, we have very poor experience in both MDR and Buffet. We feel like the Celebrity want to "nickel and dime" you on the Specialty Restaurant. They are among the highest surcharge in the major cruise line ($45/person). The Sushi on Five is a good experience. However, if we don't have the Specialty ...

This was our third cruise with Celebrity. Previously sailed on Solstice, (2010) and Equinox, (2015). We spent two nights before the cruise at the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale which I would highly recommend. Cab fare to Port Everglades was about $25 with tip. Check-in and embarkation were very easy and quick. Cabins were ready shortly after we boarded. We were supposed to sail ...

After several cruises with Celebrity including some in Aqua class on Solstice class ships and the Millennium class Constellation the back to back cruises of 14 days in Aqua on the Infinity were only average and did not rise to the level of our other trips. Dining- Blu was only average for food quality and our service time was very long until we found a really good waiter (Armando). Dining room ...

Key West Fantasy Fest\Aruba Overnight

Chose this cruise because of the ten day itinerary including Key West at Fantasy Fest and Aruba overnight. Celebrity Infinity being a smaller ship sounded interesting since I had not been on one in a long time and we loved it. Embarkation: Perfect....got to the port at 12 Noon. Room: 7043 balcony right adjacent to the elevators (forward) and right above us when you got off on Deck 10 ...

Cruise by Cruise quality of food and service depreciates

Celebrity has been our cruise line of choice for some years. Our last cruise confirmed that cost saving is having an increasing effect on the Celebrity cruise experience. The speciality restaurants on the Infinity are in our opinion not special although the charge to use them increases. The ship ran out of light beer and Vodka and the entertainment has consistently been downgraded over recent ...
