Very very small ship needs a huge update. Hopefully they will fix the issues cleansing and update disability Lyft to work.

Overrated cruise Line

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

These comments are from a cruiser with almost 50 sailings across many cruise lines. Celebrity does not live up to their claims of being an upscale line. The Constellation is a clean, well maintained, pretty ship, as are the Solstice class vessels. But higher prices and diminishing services are the flip side. In fact, it seems like they’re dividing passengers by classes as in the olden days of ...

Constellation Flower Power Cruise

We recently took the Flower Power Cruise aboard the Celebrity Constellation for 5 days to Cozumel and Key West. The entertainment was great but many of the services aboard the ship were lacking. Though the state rooms were fine, the food quality was inconsistent in the main dining room and terrible all week at the buffet. Most noticeable was the poor service through the entire ship. We ...

Fifth sail on the Connie loses some luster.

In what was to be our fifth cruise on the Celebrity Constellation - and likely our final sailing due to the ship's slated repositioning to Europe, the Mideast and an Asian base in the coming year - we were eager for an interesting itinerary on a ship we had come to love. This "grand dame" of Celebrity's Millennium class ships is becoming somewhat obsolete by today's standards for larger, ...

Let me begin by saying, we always have a good time when cruising. It's a wonderful vacation experience with food, service and entertainment. However, we all may have a different opinion on level of quality, etc. and we all can have a difference of opinion regarding the ship. That being said, our opinion regarding the Constellation is that the ship is mediocre - as was our experience based on a ...

First Time Celebrity Constellation

Our first trip with Celebrity cruise lines 9 day So. Carribbean. Ship embarkation was quick and efficient. Our rooms were ready shortly after getting on board. Rooms need updating, curtains looked like rags, bathroom grout some mold. We did enjoy the night light feature in bathroom. Also the shelf under the window good place to put things. Was unhappy that after our first night we were charged ...

Our Worst Celebrity Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

This was our 4th Celebrity cruise (Summit, Reflection, and Equinox were the others). We had just cruised the Equinox back in October to Greece/Italy/Spain/etc. and remarked that it was the best cruise we had ever taken. And this, my friends, was the worst cruise we had ever taken. EMBARKATION: We got there 2 hours after it started and no one was in line. We were in the ship within 25 ...

Just returned from the New Year's cruise and while the overall experience was fine, the dining room situation was terrible. We have cruised Celebrity many times starting with the Meridian and sailed on many lines with well over 100 cruises under our belt. Celebrity started off by distinguishing itself from the others by the food. Menus were several courses and service was elegant and efficient. ...

Nothing Special on the Connie

This was our 6th cruise in 3 years, previously on Seabourn (Pride and Odyssey) and HAL (Statendam and Westerdam), first time on Celebrity. We found the cruise enjoyable and worthwhile, with nothing exceptionally good or bad. Contrary to other reviews, we did not find the Constellation dated or poorly maintained. It appeared very well maintained, we had a very good crew and an excellent ship's ...

Not Up to Expectations

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

Summary: This is a very nice upscale cruise ship. BUT I had heard a lot of hype about how good Celebrity was and the reality didn't live up to the hype. There are other Cruise Lines which are superior to at least this one experience. However, it's a cruise - what could be bad? In what follows I don't want to sound too negative, but there were alot of issues Pros: - Food quality tended to ...

I have many reviews on this ship before taking the cruise but there is nothing like taking it yourself for a real view. I have taken the Allure of the Seas and it is a totally different experience. the Allure is like a shopping mall and fun park. The Constellation is more older couples that just want to hang out in the little lounges and have a quite evening. Getting the baggage to the room was a ...
