After 12-15 cruises on various lines, we tried a Celebrity Cruise as a nicer ship from the Royal Caribbean ships. While scheduled for a makeover next year, the ship really needs it. cabins were worn and tired and in need of some better housekeeping. My biggest complaint was the entertainment. Having been so impressed on other ships, especially on Royal Caribbean, we were looking forward to ...

We were on the 12/20/19 sailing of the Reflection. The itinerary had stops in San Juan, St. Thomas and Sint Maarten. We got a great deal when booking just 45 days out for a suite and booked 2111 since there was a YouTube review of that stateroom and it fit our needs pretty well since we like privacy on our balcony. Dining: We ate most meals in Luminae with the exception of the first dinner ...

Pleasant family Christmas cruise

Family Christmas together. First cruise for my husband and I, but Grandma and my brother's family had both cruised several times before. Embarkation was dismal - standing in line for 3 hours facing armed security guards, with no explanation given until after we finally boarded. (The explanation eventually given was that the 30-mph winds were too high to safely deploy the gangplank. I think ...

What better way to enjoy the Christmas holiday than on a cruise. This was our first holiday cruise and it was fun to be with others in the holiday spirit.. it had been a while since we have sailed on Celebrity and we were not disappointed. The ship was clean and well maintained which is hard when doing seven day Caribbean sailings. The crew was super friendly although not as polished as some crew. ...

Wonderful ship, flawless service, some tips on food

My partner and I sailed on the Reflection over the Christmas holiday, 2018. This was my second time on Celebrity, but my 18th cruise (have done Princess the most, two in RCL and one on Holland). Observations and tips: 1) This is the sexiest ship I’ve ever sailed on. Atrium extends from the main floor to the top of the ship, so natural light pours through the center of the ship. Decor is chic ...

Disappointing Holiday Cruise

From standing for 3/12 hours in terminal or outside in weather to embark to the EXTREMELY long distance walk to disembark the cruise was disappointing. For a Holiday Cruise it was not very decorated. Had a balcony room with no bathrobes or toiletries. The cabin had poor storage. The cabin service was excellent as was all the service on the ship. The food in dining room was mediocre. My ...

My daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren took me on this marvelous cruise! From the moment I stepped onto the ship, the experience of a life-time began! The ship was spectacular in every way! The cruise director (Eddy) was always entertaining the passengers with wonderful shows in the 'Reflections Theater', Trivia Quizzes throughout the voyage, the Ocean View Cafe was amazing, with ...

We'er local, well traveled middle aged professionals (46 & 55). This was our 5th cruise in 8 years. However honest, I wish my review was more positive. The good stuff first: Our stateroom was wonderful. Sizable, functional, comfy, quite and even pretty. Our stateroom attendant was excellent. All food we ate was delicious. Regardless if it came from an included food outlet or at an ...

5th time on Celebrity and again we had a great time. We used all the fitness facilities and the Persian Garden- highly recommend. We ate mostly in the Opus dining room for bfast and dinner and absolutely have no complaints. We ate in the Spa Cafe for a light lunch and it was perfect. We tried the Petit Chef (specialty-$110 a couple) experience and found it to be the worst of our dinners on ship. ...

We stayed in Fort Lauderdale 2 1/2 days prior to sailing. It was nice to get used to sunshine and warm temperatures again. We walked around a lot and also explored the city by the water taxi. Highly recommendable. Embarkation went smooth. We were in Port Everglades around 11.30 a.m. The people checking us in was in a great mood, and I think we waited approx. 15 minutes to get on board. ...
