1-10 of 174 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) Celebrity Reflection Cruise Reviews
I'd like to preface this review by mentioning that this was our first cruise.
We had some expectations and some unknowns, and we're anxious about how it would all play out, but we were committed to enjoying this once in a lifetime vacation.
I've read some of the negative comments here and I just have to shake my head. There are some, and you will spot them on the boat fairly quickly, who ...
We had a simply wonderful time on Reflection this past week. It was our first time sailing with Celebrity and it won't be our last! A few notes:
We spent two nights in at the Courtyard at Fort Lauderdale Beach prior to the cruise. We had a stupendous view and really enjoyed watching ships coming in and seeing the Reflection waiting for us on the second morning. We had a King Junior Suite ...
This is the second time on the Reflection. We have sailed on the Equinox 3 times, Beyond once and the Millenium once. We sailed with another couple. We got to Ft Lauderdale two days before we had to get on the ship. Please everyone should do that this time of the year as spring snow cause delays. It happened to us coming and going but we got it all worked out.
We feel the ship has a nice layout ...
We traveled with our adult daughter, her husband and our 15 year old grandson in two adjacent concierge class staterooms. Our stateroom assistant, Eddy, was terrific and we loved reading on our balcony while the ship was at sea. We loved the outdoor oceanview terrace for most of our meals, but also enjoyed the main dining room for two dinners. We all gathered together for meals, but otherwise ...
Had a wonderful time .Staff was really friendly .Food was great ,lots of choices .The entertainment was awesome .There was lots of activities .I thought there could have been more washrooms in busy areas .I advise anyone to reserve early for specialty dining rooms .I had imagined with that many passengers boarding and getting off would be a nightmare but was very well organized .Even after ...
The Murano Restaurant
The Maitre D - Aurelian for the restaurant not only visited with me personally, the entire crew has made my visit so special I have returned twice. My Chef de Rang Yessica is the best. The Chef Sebastian is awesome. He came to my table. The Sea Bass and the lobster was amazing. The sommelier Ivana was exceptional at pairing wine and very pleasant to work with. The ...
We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the ship was and how much we liked the whole overall experience after doing our last 2 cruises on Edge-class ships. We were in an Aqua-Class cabin which had a few more amenities which made it a little more special - these included the Persian Garden spa area and the Blu Restaurant. Both were very enjoyable. Our cabin steward, Agus, was friendly and ...
As a first time cruise, it was quite enjoyable. I know that a lot of more experienced cruisers don't like the ship apparently, but some of the reasons why people don't like it is why I enjoy the ship so much.
The ship is quite obviously dated, but not so far back to where it's a bad thing. The late 2000s to early 2010s lounges and general design language is something I actually quite enjoyed on ...
Celebrity Reflection is a gorgeous ship with its dark woods and beautiful atrium. We booked in The Retreat and we LOVED every aspect of it. Embarkation was seamless and very friendly with no lines. We had immediate access to our suite to put down our luggage and then we hit Michael’s Club for a drink until lunch at Luminae. In addition to the excellent bar service, there is a self-serve ...
Took this 6 night Western Caribbean trip offered by Blue Chip Club Casino. Our two previous Celebrity cruises were in Aqua Class, this one in a Veranda stateroom. Missed the Blu restaurant, but was not disappointed at all with main dining room Opus. Great excursions, plenty of entertainment, and a great staff to make you feel special. Best surprise of all was having Capt Kirk grab a stool and ...
