We used to love Celebrity but now when we sail with them, it's just OK. If I spend that much money, I should get more than fine. This was our twenty first Celebrity cruise and other than our upcoming cruise to the Galapagos on Flora, this is probably our final X cruise.

We are a couple in our 60’s. We cruise once a year. We do not use the pools, fitness room, spa or bars so have no comment on these areas. (Yes, I know, what do these people do? We read, socialize and eat and eat and eat. We are boring.)
Tip: Celebrity Cruises caters to an older crowd. The longer the cruise, the older the guests. I bet the average age on our 11 day cruise was 75.

Southern Caribbean cruise was offering 3 of the 5 ports which we hadn’t visited before. 2 sea days up front and 2 sea days returning. 5 port days in a row was tiring, but port 4 we hadn’t booked an excursion (St. Kitts), and we found it was quite a bit nicer than we remembered from 10 years ago. Excursions were booked mostly on our own and one through the ship. All were excellent.

I have mixed feeling about the cruise.
Embarkation and Disembarkation: Good, simple and very organized
Cabin: Adequate, the inside room is spacious enough for two people. Closet and drawers are enough to store our clothes. We were able to push the luggage under the bed. We had a chair, not a couch so the room seems bigger than our cabin in Holland America. Three electrical outlets are on ...

After 12-15 cruises on various lines, we tried a Celebrity Cruise as a nicer ship from the Royal Caribbean ships. While scheduled for a makeover next year, the ship really needs it. cabins were worn and tired and in need of some better housekeeping.

Boy were we disappointed in our cabin! 3119. Not sure anyone would know what was was above the ceiling until you were there.
We complained to room steward and then management and then guest services. Apparently we weren’t considered an emergency move, which was requested after second day. Such an expensive “sleepless” cruise....so disappointing.

We have cruised Celebrity several times and this was our first disappointment. The entertainment was boring, no comedian, no musician, limited entertainment throughout the day, shows were repetitive hence if you have been on Equinox you have seen the shows.
