"On day 8, the night before debarkation, one of our children developed a sore throat and tested positive on a home test we had with us.We pre-paid for photo packages, and the day before debarkation we stopped by the photo shop, filled out a form, and our pictures were emailed to us by the time we got off the ship...."Read More

1-10 of 510 Celebrity Equinox Cruise Reviews for for the Disabled to the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)
Thanks to Covid restrictions and other family travels, this was our first cruise in nearly 5 years. We had cruised twice before on Equinox and were a little concerned that the ship might have changed considerably. However, we needn't have worried as everything was more or less as we remembered it! Our only gripe was that most of our favourite, and quiet (!), sunbathing spots were now reserved ...
Thanks to my fellow cruise critics for your Equinox reviews. They are spot on. Everything about this ship is just a little better than most. We thought our experience was a good value and would recommend it..
We are senior travelers. The ship provided everything we wanted from a cruise. All of the public areas have a large and luxurious feel to them. The elevators are well planned and ...
We had a wonderful cruise to the southern Caribbean. We usually sail on Princess, but this ship had a great itinerary and a good price. This ship is going into dry dock and our balcony showed signs of wear. There was lots of rust , but maintenance came and painted it to give it a better look. The paint smell was a little overpowering. The food was delicious and escargot, shrimp cocktail, and ...
This was our 6th cruise with Celebrity. We are in our eighties and have cruised 19 times. This was a cruise to the Dutch Islands of the Caribbean. As usual we made use of an outstanding cruise consultant with Expedia Cruises.
All the necessary information is on the Celebrity web site. The Celebrity App is really needed to avoid confusion. However, in our case, going cruising is ...
After reading dozens of reviews here about the Equinox, I echo just about everything mentioned. The ship is in excellent shape for being 15 years old and the lack of even a single outlet on either side of the bed was a sore point with my wife and I. Even the two outlets on the desk fell way short of what we required. Thankfully Celebrity fixed this on the newer ships such as the Beyond, which we ...
I cruised on Equinox in Jan ‘24 with my adult daughter. I have previously cruised on Disney and RCCL. We were very impressed by the ship, the food, the drinks and the service. I wasn’t a huge fan of my RCCL experience to the point where I would not book with that line again and I did feel that Celebrity really did everything better. The food was really good. We ate dinners at MDR twice and ...
The terrible experience for us was the boarding. Coming from Europe we needed the Esta Permit which we got online. While we had no problem getting into the USA we had problems to get onto the ship. Nowhere does Celebrity state that you have to bring the Esta in print or show it on your handy. As ours was applied for quite a while ago I had problems retrieving ours, took 45 minutes and was a very ...
This was our first cruise since the pandemic and we chose Celebrity based on two prior cruises with the line.
We were in the Starboard Aft section of the ship. It was an obstructed balcony cabin, but the only obstruction was a bit of decking blocking a direct downward view. Otherwise the view was perfect. Cabin was quiet, comfortable and with enough room for us.
Service- Service on the ship ...
On the Celebrity Equinox everything was Perfect. The check in at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. went smoothly. Our cabin on Aqua Class was clean and comfortable. Mark did a good job keeping our cabin nice and neat.
The food was Delicious and the Service was Superb. I would like to commend the outstanding service provided by the BLU Restaurant waiter Emmanuel and his assistant Irish ...
Amazing crew and senior Officers, they are around the ship and very visible to the passengers. They are friendly and do not mind talking with you.
We love this class of ship. It is the perfect size, not too big, not too little. Easy for my husband to get around in his scooter. They make sure that our service dogs area is perfect for him. Our room attendant remembered how we like our beds ...
