"EMBARKATION: Celebrity assigned us an 11:30 terminal arrival time, so we left the hotel at 10:00 am and drove to the port (10 minutes).Other areas on the ship we really enjoyed included having tea or soda/coffee and snacks in the Cafe al Baccio on Deck 4 overlooking the Grand Plaza; the Eden for lunch, music, or a quiet relaxing spot; the impressive, well-equipped, forward-facing gym; and, the peaceful pool Solarium on port days...."Read More

1-10 of 66 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) to the Western Caribbean Celebrity Edge Cruise Reviews
We wanted to try out the new Infinite verandas and liked this 11 day itinerary. It was a perfect fit for our grandson’s two week Spring break. The entertainment was wonderful; some of the best we have seen on a cruise ship in years. We were very disappointed in the food. As mentioned, very limited menu selections. We did two Specialty restaurants, Le Petite and Fine Cut. These were very good. ...
I doubt that we will ever sail in this category again. We booked while ships were sailing half empty and got a big discount thru the casino. Our go to suite ( when available) has been the Celebrity suite especially on the hump( big balcony). Somehow I thought A Royal suite would be more special. You had the tiniest balcony with two of the most uncomfortable chairs ( no lounge). And considering ...
We love the Edge class ships so the Edge was a no-brainer for us. We had never been to Cartagena, Aruba, or Curacao before so we were looking forward to dipping our toes in the waters of South America for the first time. Sailing was smooth, calm winds and sunny skies.
Cartegena was definately not fun. We did a bus tour and we stayed on the bus and observed while other passengers got off ...
Since the start of the pandemic so many cruises have been cancelled by the line or ourselves that I was overjoyed to have convinced my ever doubtful wife that we really should do this and, thrilled to get back to sea on a big beautiful boat!..As we'd cruised the caribbean so many times we didn't bother with touring-we'd seen it all. All was going quite remarkably well, -- I say remarkable because ...
WHY WE CRUISE: My wife and I are both in our late 60’s and we really enjoy the relaxation and the flexibility that cruising (our 31st cruise) offers each passenger. As we have gotten older, we have had to focus more on the less strenuous and less sun intensive cruise activities. However, we still really enjoy visiting new destinations, relaxing in the Solarium on sea days, exploring the many ...
We sailed on Apex last January and fell in love with the Edge Class ships. We immediately booked this cruise and a previous cruise on the Apex the week prior. This cruise was fantastic... except for the food selection and quality. The difference in food quality in one year was disappointing. When speaking with other passengers, the food options and quality were the main topics that were ...
The previous reviews of this Jan 23 Edge cruise are terrific and should be read by all as whole to get an excellent overview of the pros and cons of this ship, this cruise. I am waiting for further cruises on other Edge class ships (Beyond booked for Feb 24) to see if improvements/additions warrant a 5--as a great lover of prior 5-star Solstice class cruises (esp. early on when Aqua Blu + the ...
After reading several of the negative reviews regarding this voyage, it made me wonder what ship were those folks on.... and is there anything in the Milky Way that would actually please them! This is our 7th Celebrity cruise and 36th overall and our humble stateroom is, 11154, Concierge class. We were provided with a complimentary basic beverage package, wi-fi, included gratuities, and $675 ...
Chose this cruise for time of year, destinations and cruise line.
Cabins
Excellent overall. Loved integrated balcony, colours, size of bathroom. Great beds.
Entertainment
Great. Not always my style but overall well done. The nee show, feel the funk, not Great, does not seem to align to theme. Starts strong but gets lost in middle.
Magic show Great/ Excellent. Billy Joel show - Life ...
I will start by saying the Edge is a true experience. There are so many new and exciting things about the ship with the same usually great service and attention to detail by the staff and crew. I do highly recommend a cruise on this unique class of ship and I will probably repeat. There are great aspects of this ship and some not so great, so only in my humble opinion here goes.
