Some things were excellent..others not so
"The only real ‘positive’ on the Edge was the dinning, fitness and service. The Suit areas were not up to expectations. The private pool area was nothing more than a a wading pool - with very little shade...."Read More

Ship and Crew were Fantastic!

Review for Celebrity Edge to Caribbean - Eastern

We've been wanting to try a cruise on the edge since it was released, however coppit prevented that for quite some time. So, we were very excited when the opportunity opened or cruises out of Fort Lauderdale to the eastern Caribbean. The ship is only about 1/3 occupied which made things much easier with no crowds, no lines, and a very quiet cruise. The crew was very attentive to the passengers ...

We chose the with the help of our Travel Agent. We have cruised Celebrity before and this appeared to be a good cruise with destinations we would enjoy. Besides, after 17 months of no cruising, we probably would have gone just about anywhere. It was a very relaxing cruise on a beautiful and well-maintained ship. The Edge uses a new/old hull design and provided very smooth sailing. From what ...

This was first post COVID cruise, had 5 booked and canceled. I have sailed on many different ships and lines and can say without a doubt the celebrity edge has the most amazing crew and staff at sea. They are all working so hard to deliver a top notch cruise experience with tough circumstances. The staff and crew are not allowed of ship currently they have to stay on board while in ports. I ...

We loved our cruise. Started out bad. Left 12 hours late due to a medical emergency. They deleted Costa Mayo from our itinerary. Not happy, but [stuff] happens. Everything on or about the ship was superb. The only negative comment I have is that my wife and I miss the bargain bonus days. There seems to be nothing to buy on the ship except for jewelry, purses, and high-end stuff. I bought a couple ...

The Edge is a true destination

I will start by saying the Edge is a true experience. There are so many new and exciting things about the ship with the same usually great service and attention to detail by the staff and crew. I do highly recommend a cruise on this unique class of ship and I will probably repeat. There are great aspects of this ship and some not so great, so only in my humble opinion here goes. Starting ...

Off to a REALLY bad start but turned into a stellar voyage

Boarding: We were assigned an arrival time and had 4 emails/texts to remind us to NOT come early as there would be uncomfortable wait times. Three hours before our arrival time, we received text and email to delay our arrival for embarkation an additional hour as lines were long and we now had to receive the 15 min. COVID test even though we were vaccinated (first news of this we heard). When ...

1st cruise back from pandemic

Just arrived home from our first cruise since the pandemic. Crazy… Although Captain Kate let us know 99.2% of us were vaccinated, there were at least 6 fully vaccinated who tested positive, some had to take private planes home from Costa Maya and also Cozumel. We were told on the last night that we were exposed and thru contact tracing, we were escorted to our stateroom and underwent Covid ...

Perfect week on the Edge

Cabin We stayed in an infinite verandah (7179). I know there is much debate on the IV and I think I fall into the neutral to liking it side. We did not open it much, but I loved the unobstructed floor-to-ceiling views. We had the couch on the side of the verandah, and I do think this makes a huge difference. Nearly every day, I lounged on the couch and read with a perfect view of the ocean. One ...

1st cruise since Covid-19 - perfect!

This was our 1st cruise since Covid-19 and it was absolutely perfect. We are long time Celebrity cruisers and have been on the Edge once before. We stayed in the same suite stateroom that we had on our previous cruise on the Edge - 10121. We like this location as it is near to the elevators and below Luminae so very convenient for meals there. The food in Luminae is fantastic and the staff go ...

After many, many scheduled cruises and cancellations, with NCL, I finally gave up and decided to sail Celebrity, a line I hadn't cruised in a decade. I found an S1 Sky Suite to suit my needs. I have sailed 25 cruises. This one is in the top 3! Beautiful ship! Service was over the tops. Everyone was glad to see us, and sincerely greeted us wherever we were on the ship. They made it seem ...
