Overrated cruise Line

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

These comments are from a cruiser with almost 50 sailings across many cruise lines. Celebrity does not live up to their claims of being an upscale line. The Constellation is a clean, well maintained, pretty ship, as are the Solstice class vessels. But higher prices and diminishing services are the flip side. In fact, it seems like they’re dividing passengers by classes as in the olden days of ...

Disembarkation 1st cruise with celebrity, a few issues with the embarkation but overall great cruise experience. Check-in at Port Everglades was painless, not a very nice facility though, but lines were short so no major complaints. We did Aqua class with the premium beverage package and once on the boat I had some issues with my card not working, problem was quickly resolved at the help desk. ...

My wife and I are frequent Celebrity cruisers (14 cruises), but we had never taken a cruise less than 7 days. We were looking for something to do over Easter weekend and decided to do a short cruise and try Celebrities new Suite experience. While we have booked suites in the past this was our first with the new program. The suite only dining room ( Luminae) was intimate with outstanding food and ...

Celebrity Constellation: Key West and Cozumel, 3/19/16 Intro: My first and only cruise with Celebrity was a few years ago on the Century. Although it was only two nights long, we had a great time. We decided that a longer trip would be nice, so we booked a five night sailing on the newer and larger Constellation. Another factor that pushed us toward Celebrity was that they offer past guest ...

First cruise with two destinations, and enjoyed a great voyage!

The Celebrity Constellation was a wonderful ship to visit on our first cruise to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. My husband did the research and planning, and his homework was fruitful, because we experienced a celestial voyage. The "spot-on" attention to so many details made up for any minor inconveniences. Our boat was not too big, but it still offered many of the luxuries and ...

This was our second time on a Celebrity ship and about our 12th cruise overall. I want to write this review especially for those people who feel anxious when they read several poor reviews about a ship and about someone's experience on their cruise. Remember, it's all in your attitude. If you go with the knowledge that not everything will be perfect but that you are on vacation and will make ...

We had a hectic drive from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale, traffic held up by 2 different accidents on I-75. Were so relieved to find our ship still docked (lol) it was only 2:30. As Aqua Class and Diamond members we are given priority check in, which we appreciate. That was lost after we received our room card and had to join a long line to have a picture taken for the card. Normally that is ...

Not My Best Cruise Experience

We were so excited for our stay on an "upper scale" cruise line! Stayed in Aquaclass. Where were our towel animals? Where was our stateroom attendants? We never set eyes on him until we were leaving! We asked for ice to chill our wine in the bucket provided in our stateroom, and was brought a small cup, so we asked for more, and never received. The one show we did watch was a not-so-funny ...

Very Pleased with Celebrity and the Constellation

We sailed out of Ft Lauderdale and our embarkment was flawless. We were given access to our Aqua Class room early. The ship's crew were all friendly and accommodating. We upgraded to Aqua Class and thoroughly enjoyed the spay experience. It was worth every penny of the upgrade. The Blu restaurant is an added bonus . Anthony (from India) was our waiter each evening. His level of professionalism ...

Never before have a been such a wide variety of age groups on any cruise line or ship before. One great thing were the college age kids who were on Spring break, (most major college's in the U.S.A start spring break in March), I-- being a product of the movie, "Animal House" and the college age of the 80's and a 18 year old legal age remember a more wild and rambunctious Spring break spent in ...
