Mostly Wonderful Cruise
"Felt very closed in, big white railing is right at eye level, so you must duck down in your chair to see horizon (problem both night and day for us).Arrived at terminal at 10:45; no problem getting right up to gorgeous new Retreat check-in lounge, which was already full...."Read More

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Apex

Cruise a holic

After our cruise pause, we decided to take a b/2/b on the celebrity apex. 12/30/22 and 1/7/23. When you enter terminal 25 in fort lauderdale the excitement begins. We were in a suite and arrived at the terminal about 10:45 am. We dropped off our luggage from our uber then proceeded to the suite entrance- took just a few minutes go through security then directed up the escalator to the suite ...

Loved the Apex!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Apex

We have cruised many times on all the major cruise lines. We were on the Apex April 16-23, 2022. What a beautiful ship with unique, modern art work. We loved everything about it, the food, the entertainment, the service. We canceled three cruises during the height of the pandemic and it felt great to be cruising again. Our cabin was 7218, midship. Very comfortable and quiet, never felt any ...

After two longs years of waiting, we finally got to sail again (we Lift & Shift'ed to this sailing from an April 2021 sailing) Cabin: We were originally in a 1B balcony cabin on deck 6, but were moved to a E2 Infinite Veranda cabin on deck 8 after two days due to a broken water pipe. For us, this was indeed an upgrade, although many other cruisers don't like the infinite verandas. I really ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Apex

Review of April cruise on Celebrity Apex We sailed with Celebrity on Apex on the 26th of March and had scheduled four weeks. We had done the covid test two days prior, and it was negative for both of us. We stayed at a Marriott Fairfield the day prior. We wore masks on the airplane, at the airport, during the Lyft ride to the Fairfield, checking into the Fairfield, and did the same when ...

Mostly Wonderful Cruise

We had already been on 4 Solstice Class cruises, and wanted to try one on Edge Class. We sailed on our first suite class(Sky) on Equinox (Aug. 1, 2021), moved up to Signature Suite on Reflection (Dec. 11, 2021), then decided to return to Sky Suite on the Apex (That is plenty posh enough for us). We had a bit of a rocky check-in at the port. Arrived at terminal at 10:45; no problem getting ...

We cruised back to back on the Celebrity Apex 2/26/22 thru 3/12/22. We put in a move up bid for both cruises and were surprised to be moved from a Sky Suite to the Iconic Suite for the first week and to a Celebrity Suite for the second week. My first thought about the Iconic Suite—good grief! Do we need to go out and buy new matching luggage so it doesn’t look like the Beverly Hillbillies are ...

Celebrity does everything right

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Apex

This was our 24th cruise (third post pandemic) and one of our best yet. Celebrity just does everything very well. The Apex is a beautiful ship. It is large but has a small ship feel because it is well laid out. We had about 1800 passengers out of 2900. It did not feel crowded. Every aspect of the cruise is first class. Service is excellent throughout the ship. The entertainment is great. ...

Great ship very modern but not what I expected as far as service was concerned

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Apex

I chose this cruise because the ship was modern and I thought it would be fantastic experience. I was disappointed in the food , I never felt the taste was fabulous . It was passable . I tried all the restaurants included and my meals were ok but nothing to remember. The breakfast venue was nice with good pastries though . The last night I ate at the rooftop and that meal was tasty but it cost $45 ...

Some good some not so good!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Apex

Having taken many Celebrity cruises, We thought it would be interesting to sail on the new Celebrity ship. The ship is beautiful. It is very contemporary, bright, and immaculate. In the downside, it may appeal to a younger crowd. There isn’t one place on the ship to enjoy a quiet cocktail. There are none of those cozy nooks where you can meet up with other passengers and have a conversation. ...

Please note that these are my experiences on my January 22nd Apex and January 29th Enchanted Princess cruises. We are Elite on Celebrity and sailed in Aqua Class with dining in Blu. We sailed in a Club Class Mini Suite on Enchanted so we dined in Club Class and received priority embarkation. Embarkation: We had a 10:30 arrival time with Celebrity. We arrived at terminal 25 at 10:15am. ...
