We had already been on 4 Solstice Class cruises, and wanted to try one on Edge Class. This was our 24th cruise (third post pandemic) and one of our best yet. Celebrity just does everything very well. The Apex is a beautiful ship. It is large but has a small ship feel because it is well laid out. We had about 1800 passengers out of 2900. It did not feel crowded. Every aspect of the cruise is first class. I chose this cruise because the ship was modern and I thought it would be fantastic experience. I was disappointed in the food , I never felt the taste was fabulous . It was passable . Having taken many Celebrity cruises, We thought it would be interesting to sail on the new Celebrity ship. The ship is beautiful. It is very contemporary, bright, and immaculate. In the downside, it may appeal to a younger crowd. There isn’t one place on the ship to enjoy a quiet cocktail.
