Returned this Saturday from a great time aboard Carnival's Miracle. We were travelling with a large group of 22 people total and Carnival could not have been more accommodating to our needs. The Main Dinning Room staff made sure we had tables right next to one another which was wonderful for the grandparents in our group who very infrequently get to see their grand children. The waiter's ...
My fiance and I sailed on the Miracle on the 10 Nov 2011 Southern Caribbean sailing. We have sailed Carnival several times and knew what to expect. We drove to the port from our Orlando area home, taking about 3 1/2 hours to get to the port. We used "Park & Go" for parking as they are $6.99 a day instead of the $10.00 - $20.00 a day the port charges and they are only a mile or so from the port. ...
This is the review for our Carnival Miracle vacation for my friend Jen and I, for a sailing date of November 2, 2011 for a 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise. This was my fourth cruise, second aboard Carnival, with the other two being Princess. I am 31 years old. I planned this trip around traveling with others I have cruised with in the past. I must admit, that I was hesitant to book this cruise ...
We are home from our 9 day Carnival Cruise, and had a horrible time! Cruisers beware. Carnival employees are thieves. Maybe not all of them, but it only takes one. We had all our valuables,(Kindle, camera, video camera, Ipod, 4 sets of speakers, (2 Bose)) and all of my cash stolen by their cleanup crew on one of their privately owned islands. We actually came home with less stuff than we took. ...
The first stop was Half Moon Cay, Bahamas, where we had the beach all to ourselves for a wonderful day sunbathing and swimming naked. I don't like Half Moon Cay as much as RCL/Celebrity's Coco Cay, but being naked all day makes everything nice.
The main focus of this cruise was our next stop--the annual Fantasy Fest event in Key West. We sailed in naked all the way to the in-town dock, ...
Let me get the only negatives out of the way first...the embarkation meant standing in line an hour and 40 minutes. Apparently they had computer problems. The line on the other side of the room seemed to breeze through, no idea why. We use room service a lot and they sent the wrong thing several times. Amazingly, the "wrong thing" was good every time. Lastly, we ordered the Chateaubriand and it ...
Embarkation and Disembarkation: Ft Lauderdale - so easy and quick - Carnival is #1 in this process. Ship: Loved this class ship - so easy to navigate, very comfortable and welcoming in every area. The dEcor seems a bit gaudy in places, and I feel there are some unused spaces that could benefit with some attention and action ( i.e. The Garden walk, and a few other common areas that appeared ...
We booked this cruise a year in advance to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. This was our 3rd Sprit class cruise and we love the Sprit class as they are large enough to have something for everyone but you don't get lost every time you leave your room.
Ft Lauderdale - Extremely easy to get onto the port, drop your bags, and park in the mid level garage. There was a short wait in line ...
I've read a lot of mixed review on the Miracle, so i thought i'd do my part so that people have more info on the boat. Embarkment: Two words: Easy, Quick. Fort Lauderdale is SOOOO MUCH quicker than Miami. Upon arriving at port, we were on the boat within 15 minutes.Ship: I've read a lot of reviews that described this ship as 'a little to gaudy', 'too much', etc. My opinion is that i didnt like all ...
I hadn't had the opportunity to cruise any of the Spirit classes yet, so I decided to book the 8 day aboard the Carnival Miracle to Sint Maarten, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts. I will give a day-by-day below, but for those who just like the 'down and dirty', the next 2 paragraphs are for you:
POSITIVES:
Just about EVERYTHING ON THE SHIP! Seriously! I was pleasantly surprised to have such a ...
