Embarkation - This was the worst experience of the entire trip. We waited in line for approximately 2 hours in an building that had no air conditioner. It was miserable to say the least. It was not a pleasant start to our vacation. However, the airport (FLL) was very close and we were at the port in less than 10 minutes.

We traveled with a group of friends, as a quick way to all get away and get to see each other. Of the six, four cruise Carnival regularly, 2 had never cruised before (on a cruise ship, that is. I am a travel agent and I won this cruise as an incentive for selling the most Carnival in my region. I really love Carnival so this was pretty easy for me. :-) I brought my hubby but our 2 kids stayed home this time.
