I have found that Carnival ships run hot and cold. I have been on many more than once but I have sailed the Ecstasy, Imagination, Sensation, Destiny, Valor, Triumph, Victory, Paradise, Pride, Glory and now the Miracle. I will begin by saying I really like the layout of this class of ship. Everything was easy to get to. Embarkation was Ft. Lauderdale. I was happy because we live in the Ft. ...

We were on the Miracle March 20 cruise and visited Panama, Costa Rica, and Belize. I found the best information on the Ports Board and with recommendations from previous cruisers, we did our excursions independently. We really loved this ship. Thought that this was our best spring break cruise to date (Celebrity Century, Costa Atlantica, Carnival Destiny, Costa Mediterranea, Carnival Glory, ...

My husband & i decided it was time for us to take my 14yr.old grandson away before he got to old too want to hang with mom mom & pop pop. So we decided on a cruise. We were ready to book an entirely different cruise until we were advised by many to do a Carnival ship. "The Fun Ship". The first full day of sailing was unfortunately a wash out.We spent the entire day trying to find the "circle c" ...

Had Fun - But None to be found after Midnight !

This was my second cruise with Carnival, and because they've maintained their reputations as the "fun ships" I stuck with them this time around. I was attracted to this cruise because of the extra night, and the "out there" feel of Panama, Costa Rica, and Belize. Looking around the embarkation area, I realized that I picked the wrong port for a single guy going on a cruise. 2/3 of the people ...

1) there was a constant feeling of being nickled and dimed.selling us something. 2)having the main dinning room on deck 2 aft, directly over the screws, made for a good number of passengers who were upset by the motion. Most ships I have been on have the dinning on deck 5 or 6. 3)no place for those wishing to sit on a lounger, but in the shade.Other ships have lots of room with loungers in shaded ...

We have only been on 3 other cruises, but this was the best and we do not see how any other could be this good, all the rest of our cruises will be on the Miracle if we can arrange it.The staff was fantastic and so friendly and I have never seen as many smiles anywhere. My wife had a diet problem and the crew in the Bacchus Restaurant were such great host,as the bent over backwards to prepare the ...

Background: I'm a single female, mid-50s; DD just (finally) finished college, age 23. This was my 11th cruise, 10th on Carnival, making this my first as a Platinum cruiser. DD will be Platinum on her next. I sailed the Triumph's Cruise-to-Nowhere in October, solo, specifically so I'd be Platinum, as our embarkation in Port Everglades two years ago was not very pleasant at all. Two days after ...

We welcomed the New Year on the Carnival Miracle and loved it! We arrived in Fort Lauderdale the same day the ship left, Dec 30th. We prefer going the day before but with Christmas and visits to family, we needed the extra day. Two of the couples did go down the day before and were already on board when we arrived at the pier. Everything went right on schedule..got luggage and transfer to ship in ...

This was our first cruise, and we chose Carnival Miracle with 8 other friends, all of us middle-aged, convivial, and outgoing. Embarkation was efficient and friendly. I was impressed with the systems. I didn't know what to expect from the ship's decor, but I must have been expecting something . . . tasteful. This ship is garish beyond belief, with zany, clashing, over-the-top decor. In a few ...

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale for the weekend prior to our Tuesday departure and had our usual good weather and nice stay prior to boarding. Embarkation went smoothly arriving at the cruise terminal around 11 a.m. and being on board with our carry ons stowed in our stateroom closet by 12:30 p.m. We were part of a large cruise critic board that had arranged to wear Mardi Gras beads as a form of ...
