We went with a group of six couples and had a blast! Loved the entertainment and CD "Wee Jimmy" made everyone have a good time, his bubbly personality was infectious. We had anytime dining but ended up going to the 6 pm early dining each night to get a prime table for 12, right by the maitre'd desk up front. Our servers were exceptional and when my wife and I celebrated our 35th anniversary ...

Great Winter Getaway on the Freedom

I took an 8 night solo cruise on the Carnival Freedom to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, San Juan and Grand Turk. This was my second solo cruise and fourth cruise with Carnival. Overall, I had a very relaxing time and plan to take a winter cruise every year if I can. I broke up the misery of the northeast perfectly this year. The Freedom was the biggest ship that I have been on to date and I really ...

We had travelled on the sister ship, Freedom, two years earlier and it was such a great experience for a first time cruise. The customer service was amazing--everywhere on the ship--and while the entertainment was just ok, the entertainment crew made the absolute best of everything. It was all out fun! This wasn't the sister--it was the wicked step-sister! The self-proclaimed Drew Carey look alike ...

We took a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the Liberty during the first week of March. This was actually our second time on the Liberty and we were just as impressed (if not more) this time around as before. As far as other member reviews that criticize this ship, I honestly don't know what else they could want. We had one of the best cruise experiences that we have ever had; this is our 8th ...

Carnival Liberty - Eastern Caribbean

Upon booking, I was fortunate enough to get an "early bird special" in pricing. I thought I had done my homework but it turned out that the rep had put us in a handicap room, with two twin beds that could not convert into a king. This was our honeymoon, so as you might imagine, this was unacceptable! We had to call back with little time to spare, and they were able to move our cabin to a ...

This was our first Carnival cruise , however it was our 11th cruise overall.Previously on Princess and RCCL Arrived from So. California via red eye flight on Jet Blue, uneventful , everything was fine. We then went by hotel shuttle to the La Quita Inn and Suites near the airport, the rooms are adequate with a nice pool area in the rear of the property. Continental breakfast is served, the breakfast ...

My husband, 11 year old son and I sailed on the Liberty on a 6 day cruise from 4/6-4/12. We drove from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale the day before with 2 other couples and their two children. We all stayed at the Hampton Inn, which cost $99 for the night, plus an addition $20 to park our car there for the week (you can park for $20 for up to 10 days). This hotel was absolutely fabulous. They drove us ...

I had cruised on the Carnival Triumph a couple years ago, and we loved it, so we thought we would try the Liberty, since it was going to a new island that I had not visited, Tortola, BVI. The Carnival Liberty is a nice large ship with a lot of color and design. To some people it may be too much. One thing that is neat is the floor/deck number is in the carpet, so you know where you are located ...

Honeymooners on the Liberty

This was my first cruise and my husbands 5th. 3rd on Carnival. I was instantly impressed by the size of the ship. Even when pulling into ports the Liberty was by far the largest ship. Embarkation was a cinch. We arrived at the terminal at 10:30am. We had a family member drive us which made things much easier. Our luggage was taken right away and we walked into the terminal. Went straight through ...

We are myself, my husband and a son(15) and daughter(13). We traveled with my Sister, brother in law and their two kids same ages and genders as ours. We arrived two days early and stayed at Embassy Suites 17th street. There were plenty of restaurants and a grocery store right behind the hotel. It was a short walk to the water taxi that we enjoyed for $13(the price went up because of the fuel ...
