It was reported that a good time was had by all. First trip on C Freedom. Food was great. Really liked that the hamburgers were great and included, as was the Mexican food and ice cream. Thanks, Carnival. Service was very good. Steward was very friendly and efficient. What more could a person ask for in a cruise, except maybe entertainment that was a little less lame. Dancing kids were very good. ...
This was our 7th cruise with Carnival. We had purchased the transfers from Ft. Lauderdale Airport to the cruise terminal. This was the first time we had problems with this service. The Carnival station at the airport was not properly manned. It took almost 3 hours from the time we landed to make it to the cruise terminal.
Our room was ready and luggage delivered in a timely manner. Upon entering ...
The Freedom was the first ship we have been on since Carnival has upgraded to 2.0. Some improvements they are trying are great, others leave me longing for the old days. We cruised back to back, 8 Days on the Freedom followed by 6 days on the Conquest. Although the ships are virtually identical in design, there is a vast difference in features and service.
Let's start with features. Both ships ...
If this title is how you want to spend your hard earned money Carnival is the Ship for you.
I have been on 6 other Cruises but this is the first with Carnival. I may be harsh to judge. But, Please believe me when I say go spend your money on a better brand.
The lack of entertainment on the Freedom was surprising. I love to cruise just for the Vegas like acts at the end of the night to wrap up ...
This was our 36th cruise. Coming fresh off the Oasis, we set our expectations a bit low. Boy were we wrong. This cruise was superior in every respect. Especially the entertainment was so much better than what we were used to see on many previous cruises. Stunning shows with pyrotechnics and laser light. And not just one show, but three (on a seven day trip). Absolutely fantastic!
Embarkation was ...
We had a great time on the cruise ship and it was an excellent deal. I ended up being able to book this 8 night cruise for $260 each!!! Every time it went on sale I'd call Carnival and they would refund me. We had a great time in St Thomas and plan on going back. The water was wonderful at Maegans Bay! We got a taxi on our own and she gave us the same tour for $8 each that the Shore Excursions was ...
This was my 28th cruise on Carnival. My wife and I sailed out of Port Everglades on the Carnival Freedom. This was an eight day cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We have done this cruise a few times, going to Aruba, Curacao, and Grand Turk. We didn't have any problems on this cruise, and as usual, had a wonderful time. Yes, I have noticed changes on the ships that we have sailed on. I think that ...
We sailed on the Carnival Freedom during the week of January 18th. This cruise was fantastic! We visited Grand Turk, San Juan and St. Martin. The weather was great, in the mid 80s all week. "Wee Jimmy" was our Cruise Director and he was hilarious. Next best thing to John Heald! The cabin, food and service was beyond expectations! The production shows were, by far, the best we've ever seen during ...
We had our first cruise on the Carnival Freedom ship in Jan. 2015. My brother was married on the ship in port at Fort Lauderdale, FL. We had 22 people come on the cruise. Carnival took such great care with the wedding party and planning the ceremony from beginning to end. They did an amazing job. The photographer, Atreo took so many beautiful pictures for us. I felt that they really made my ...
Overall we had a great vacation! We met Wee Jimmy the cruise director for the first time. He is a wonderful man and entertainer! First cruise director on any cruise I have been on that I will remember. Also met Thelma the head of guest services, we had a few small issues and guest services was happy to help us out, Thelma was wonderful to deal with and very personable when we saw her around the ...
