Great Time On Our 1st Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Conquest

Picked Carnival Conquest after a disaster Caribbean cruise with MSC, wanted to try a new line and 3 new islands for us on this itinerary hit the spot. Embarkation was a total breeze, 30 minutes from shuttle drop off to on board. Very impressed, seems things go a lot quicker if you just turn up at your allotted time. Disembarkation was the opposite, as per usual, delays on getting off made ...

Overall it was a great cruise. The weather was almost perfect and I haven't had a bad cruise yet. The ship's crew did a great job and the food was good. I think NCL does have a better food selection in their buffet but I always found more than enough to eat. I had my son and granddaughter with me and they enjoyed their cruise too. My only real gripe came after the cruise. I was ...

First cruise and it was AMAZING

Mat, the cruise director, was phenomenal. He is so full of energy and so positive. He was the perfect person to keep the ship going. The adults in our group enjoyed the casino a lot (someone please win our money back). We had so many people that talked and laughed with us. I could list something special about each of them, but that would take all day. I do want to mention some of the names of ...

We went on this cruise as a group. One of our group had cruised Carnival many times. I was disappointed in the food. It was almost the same food each day. Not many new items added. I understood that this ship had been recently remodeled. It still looked tired and worn. The Lido deck needs more servers to help clear/clean tables. Some of the staff in all areas were not very friendly. The ...

I was disappointed with my cruise with Carnival on the Conquest. Our first stop was at Princessc Cay and the tendons in my knee flared up when I was swimming in the ocean. That night I couldn't walk. I asked if I could borrow a wheelchair to go to the dinner and they said that I would have to rent one for the remainder of the cruise or per day. The rental for the entire cruise was $137 dollars or ...

Fun trip, but...

We don't have a must-book-with cruise company. We book cruises after looking at prices and flight schedules, and haven't cruised with carnival in 2 years and could tell differences. No tablecloths in formal dining room, not enough waiters and bartenders in pool areas and casinos, servers in dining room didn't seem to care if they served us or not. What happened to the captains cocktail party? A ...

I went on this cruise with a friend who was joining 80 plus others she has cruised with before. This was their 10th anniversary group cruise. Everywhere we went people were awesome and friendly, except for the two people trying to save an entire row in the theater. They weren't considerate or friendly. What part of no saving seats do some people not get? The pool areas were clean and there were ...

Stepping on board the Conquest and your party begins! Entertainment and enthusiasm from the crew was so fun and energizing. From sail away to the very last night this Carnival crew was fabulous. The dining options were plenty and the variety of food venues was no exception. The ports of call were great. We got off the ship at each port, whether it was to enjoy a beach day or take in an excursion. ...

We cruise every 3 to 4 years. My last carnival cruise was in 2004 and it was very good. After 3 Norwegian cruises we decided to try Carnival again, Here is my summary. SHIP Large and stable. Minimal motion issues in 5 foot Caribbean seas. Overall fresh and clean appearing despite its age. From a lay out standpoint my only complaint is that the main rear dining room on levels 3 and 4 could ...

Carnival Conquest We cruised out of Fort Lauderdale on 12/22/18 for our Christmas cruise. We flew in a few days early and stayed at the Embassy Suites (17th Street). The hotel is very nice and was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The pool area and koi pond was very enjoyable. Breakfast was good, very busy at times but during the holidays that is to be expected. Evening appetizer and drink ...
