I always wanted to go on a trans alantic cruise and found it a very relaxing way to cross the ocean. The Princess Caribbean was a great ship and lots to do during the day or night. I didnt really like the upgrade or re-do of the buffet on Lido deck, less choices to eat, but I really enjoyed dining in the palm dining room for breakfast, supper.I always wanted to see Paris, but it was real cold, but ...

After several cruises, we decided to go for a transatlantic one and see how we would like so many days at sea. We liked it a lot! We live in Florida and rented a car through Budget for drop off near the cruise pier. This worked real well and the Budget shuttle was a good one. Since we would be flying home from London, leaving our car in parking was not an option. I would recommend Budget for ...

This was our first Transatlantic voyage. The renovations to the ship were very noticeable as we had sailed twice before. Enjoyed the BBQ based Planks restaurant which replaced the Horizon buffet. They had great tasting options for breakfast and lunch at no charge. The new beds were very comfortable for us but we did hear a few people had to have a board put under the mattress. The formal ...

This was a repositioning cruise and since we had never done a transatlantic cruise,we decided to try one. The price was an excellent value and one too good to pass up and not do it. The ship was just coming out of dry dock so we were the first ones to go on the "new" Caribbean Princess. We have sailed on her 5 previous times so we have seen the old and now the new. The new Horizon Court (now ...

50th Anniversary Celebration and the excellent itinerary! We booked this cruise to celebrate our 50th anniversary and husband's birthday! We loved the itinerary because we were able to see ports never visited before! We love sea days and this cruise gave us lots of relaxing, unhurried days to do whatever we wanted....or to do nothing at all. The food was very good but the staff makes any ...

This was our 4th transatlantic cruise, the 3rd one on Princess. It had nice ports, 2 of them we never had visited. 14 night cruise. Ship was in dry dock 12 days in the Bahamas before we boarded. I read some of the refurbishing details, as they were replacing bedding, carpeting, lido deck eatery and some restaurants. I have been on this ship 3 previous times and actually was able to book a ...

Dry enjoyable cruise

The first couple of days were rough, starting with embarkation, which was delayed and slow as could be when it actually got started. That was unusual for Princess, but the ship just got out of dry dock and had some.issues. There was water on the stateroom floor and very loud noises keeping us awake, however Princess took care of the problems and moved us to a different stateroom which turned out ...

We sailed out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and since we live in Florida we didn't go until time to board the ship, the Caribbean Princess. We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Our cabin was nice but not as large as some others we've had, but we did have a nice balcony so that made up for the size of the cabin. Our cabin steward Wilson was attentive. We were treated great! The ...

We received an email stating that boarding would be delayed and not to arrive until 5:00 pm. Since we live close, this wasn't a problem. We did show up a little earlier as a friend said that they boarded with no problem. Our boarding was seamless. Our cabin was great, E222, very convieniently located. It was a little more forward than we prefer, but motion wasn't an issue at all. It is ...

Transatlantic on Caribbean Princess Post Dry Dock

We were on the CP for the transatlantic after it came out of drydock. We have been on the CP twice before, and thought I'd post my opinion of some of the changes, good and bad. Hits - New beds very comfortable, new layout for buffet area and it's much easier to get around, better wifi coverage on ship (although it's still not very fast), movie screen by pool much brighter and clearer picture, ...
