It is hard to find a 14 night cruise that makes a circle in the Caribbean and doesn’t return to home port after 7 nights. This cruise has a good balance of sea days and port days. You have to pace yourself when choosing activities off the ship or you can wear out when you’re doing 6 or 7 ports back to back.
The food this trip was excellent in the main dining room. The entrees were tasty and ...
To put this review in perspective, just five weeks before this cruise we'd been to a river cruise on the Nile in Egypt. So any review after that may pale in comparison. That being said, this cruise was very nice in where the ship stopped for tours.
We've been on a cruise to the Caribbean before but to different stops along the way. This cruise is listed as a ten day trip which is true enough ...
Been a while since going on a cruise, first solo cruise in my 67 years and it was better than expected with a bump or two. Panama canal is an amazing feat of large scale engineering.
Food is very good, entertainment was the best I have had in maybe 20 cruises in my life. Singing and dancing isn't my favorite but the production numbers I really enjoyed. Lots of corny events on at sea days, from ...
We just returned from a 10-day Princess Panama Canal cruise. If you are thinking of it, read this and think long and hard.
This was our 3rd cruise with Princess. I did this cruise pre covid with my mother, about 8 years ago. I was so excited to show my husband and grown son all the cool things but much has changed and to me, not for the better, This will be my last trip with Princess.
The ...
This was our 5 Princess cruise (3 around 2015 and 1 this past April on the Majestic). This cruise ended up being covered with all the COVID credits we received. As with the cruise in April the entertainment is just lack luster, boring and with little creativity. Don't get me wrong, the performers themselves are quite talented but when you have a ventriloquist 2 nights (out of a 5 night cruise) ...
The Caribbean Princess needs to be remodeled or taken out of service. It is dated and subpar. The pools did not get cleaned with a filter (as standard on land) and by the 3rd day all pools were murky and had a sheen of body oil and sunscreen.
The service was good with exceptional staff at the Wheelhouse Bar and Lotus Spa. The cruise was very short staffed but the crew that was present did a ...
I was hesitant about going on a cruise during this pandemic. But being vaccinated and boosted I felt safe. Also, knowing the entire staff was vaccinated and masked the whole time was comforting. The entire staff was wonderful, the ship was clean and met all our needs. The ship was constantly being cleaned. The entertainment was just wonderful. The food was exquisite and the portions were ...
It was our first time cruising with Princess and it won't be our last. our stateroom steward Fernandes Benil made sure our room was nice and tidy, very polite and friendly. I am glad our friends invited us to travel with them. The lido food was always fresh. I must mentioned the pizza was amazing. The only thing I had a problem was with the creamer for the coffee was always short, they would ...
First time on Caribbean Princess will be my last. Ship is past retirement date and it shows (rust is everywhere, hallways are visibly worn/dented). Staff seemed poorly trained and most were unable to communicate understandably (aside from "Good Morning"). Dining room food was satisfactory but other offerings were not edible ("grilled" chicken sandwich was tough as shoe leather; the "handcrafted" ...
The food was good during the day and evening. At Late night, not so mush. After 10 PM the only places to get food was at the "International Cafe," (mostly sweet rolls or Coffee), or room Service.
You want entertainment? When you go to the Theater you better like Musicals. Five out 0f 7 was Musicians. The other 2 nights was the same comedian. He never did anything at any of the night clubs on ...
