Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

This was a spur of the moment decision to take this So. Fl to Quebec Cruise up the entire Eastern US Coast and over all our experience was very, very positive. I was very surprised when I learned that the ship had over 3,000 passengers because it certainly rarely felt that way. We decided to eat all 3 of our meals at the Buffet which enabled me and the wife to get exactly what we wanted since we ...

The best cruise experience that I ever had.

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Viking Octantis

I have wanted to try Viking for several years. When presented with the opportunity in late December 2022, to take a 16 day cruise from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Toronto, Canada with free airfare and the silver drink package, I jumped on it. I had heard from friends and the person that cut my hair that Viking was a very good cruise company. But I found out that they much better than good - ...

Eastern Seaboard ... Great Ports! So much to see and do!

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Caribbean Princess

This was an amazing cruise with 9 ports ... there was so much to see and do in every single port! We thoroughly enjoyed the smaller group excursions. The LuLu Lobster boat, in Bar Harbour, was one of our favourite excursions. We wouldn’t recommend the whale watching as there were about 250 passengers on the boat; very crowded and the chances of seeing a whale is minimal (we didn’t see any ...

A pleasant and relaxing cruise with a wonderful itinerary

We boarded this cruise in Ft. Lauderdale. Embarkation and debarkation were very smooth and efficient, as we used the Princess medallions, which we received prior to leaving home. We had an inside cabin B741 on Baja deck (11), near the rear of the ship. It was comfortable and quiet, with very little outside noise. Everything worked, and our cabin steward was efficient in cleaning and servicing ...

A wonderful cruise, with a glitch or two, but wonderful none the less.

We arrived at Port Everglades, and check-in was only delayed because some of the local agents seemed to be still learning the whos, whats, wheres, whys, and hows of the Medallion system. Boarding had not quite started, but within 15 minutes or so, we were on the ship. Our cabin wasn't ready yet, but I dropped off our case of wine and carry-on bags before heading to the dining room for lunch. ...

Choose this cruise because it was close to a two week cruise. Loved the ports of call, and had not been to a few. Great ending in Quebec where we choose to stay a few days and then take a train to Montreal! Had never been to theses places in Canada. My favorite stop was Bar Harbor Maine, the Natonal park tour was very interesting! The medallion on the cruise ship was a fun experience which ...

My review is written from this perspective: During our forty-two married years together my wife and I have previously cruised twenty-four times. We’ve been on Holland America four times already, plus multiple cruises on Royal Caribbean, Windstar, Uniworld Europe River Cruises, and once on Oceania. We enjoy cruising, especially the at-sea days. We liked this itinerary for its two up-front at-sea ...

Transatlantic & Baltic Sea

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Regal Princess

We just spent 28 days aboard a wonderful ship, the Regal Princess. Arrived in Ft Lauderdale the day before, took the motels shuttle to the cruise port (midday) and it took us only 40 min. from being dropped off by the shuttle until we were in our room, and we did not have priority embarkation. GREAT! This was our 9th cruise and our 3rd cruise with Princess, all Transatlantic, “Ruby”, “Emerald” ...

We left out of Port Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived at about 11 a.m. There were no lines or waiting. We signed in and were on the ship in about 30 min. or less. This was definitely the easiest, swiftest embarkation to date for us. We had cabin 7108. It was close to the elevators by the centrum and access to all other areas was fantastic. Our cabin was a non smoking balcony at the end of several smoking ...
