This was my 15th Princess cruise and the best yet in terms of the ship itself. The ports of Azores, Madeira, Casablanca, Cadiz and Lisbon were fine but not trip highlights for me. Note: if one of your main concerns is the main dining room or the specialty restaurants, look elsewhere as I no longer go there on any cruise.
The ship is beautiful. The whole boarding process from being bused ...
We chose the Viking Panama Canal 16 day cruise because of the opportunity for extended sea days mixed with South American tropical ports of call. This itinerary afforded us ample time aboard to take advantage of multiple Nordic Spa days, daily promenade walks at sunrise, sunsets on our veranda and star lite nights. Quiet times to sunbath with a good book or reflect upon the soul stirring live ...
This was my very first ocean cruise. I had specific requirements in my search for the right cruise. I wasn’t interested in a party atmosphere with loud disco music, I wanted to avoid children running around the ship, and I wasn’t interested in spending time with gambling or casinos. I wanted a cruise with diverse dining options in restaurants that didn’t require me to become best friends with a ...
This is our first HAL Cruise, and I’m sold. My wife and I have been on just about every cruise line, but finally we have found our niche. Holland offers everything I want. The ship is spotless, the crew most hospitable and professional. The services on the ship from dining to cabin service top notch. For those who are concerned, there are multiple closets and under-bed drawers that are very large. ...
we did the transatlantic on the regal from Rome to FLL last fall. It was so good that we booked up this crossing while on board. the crew is INCREDIBLE! The service everywhere on the ship was OUTSTANDING!
We had club class dining ,with our mini suite, and to us ....it was perfect. The advantage of immediate seating at all meals and the quality of the dining staff left us extremely satisfied ...
We took the Transatlantic from Ft. Lauderdale to Southampton on March 18, 2023.
Ship Capacity is 4100 but only 2100 people on board and just 8 children.
A couple of ports were skipped due to weather issues but the Captain kept us safe and calm.
One of the absolute best cruises we have ever taken.
Embarkation in Ft. Lauderdale was a breeze...quick easy, simple and on the ship in under ...
Love transatlantic cruises and this sailing had Casablanca and Coruna, 2 ports we’d never visited, so . . . The Sky Princess is only a few years old, and very nicely furnished—good ship if you prefer a relatively small ship. We were lucky that the cruise was only half full—about 2,000 passengers.
We stuck to the main dining rooms, where food and service was great every night. Alfredo’s is a ...
We have enjoyed 37 cruises, but this was our first time on Silversea. We were eager to test drive, and there were no disappointments. The stand-out was the food, quality and variety. We kept telling ourselves, "This is NOT cruise ship food." It was more like going to a very good restaurant on land. Inventive quality cooking. Also great were all the bars (and there are a lot of them!) and the ...
After our last cruise on SB was a total disaster…(Diamond members sailed 273 days) we thought why not try SS on a little 12 days crossing…what a difference! Cabin 7** mid ship was very comfortable, met our butler, didn’t really have to ask for anything as items replaced promptly…as soon as noticed…we ate in all the dining venues some twice….has a great experience in all of them. The food was good ...
Our ports were the Azores (actually really liked these two ports, had zero expectations for them and they turned out so well, took Viator tours) Cherbourg, Brugges, and Amsterdam. All were excellent, many different excursions available and we were able to see the Keukenhoff at the peak of tulip season so this was amazing timing. We took a ship, HA, tour to Ypres, WW I cemeteries and an excellent ...
