I will start off saying our cruise experience was really good. Overall, our party of 5 (4,25,26,54,55 y/o) all had a blast. We had two rooms and the service at our rooms was really good. Our head waiter (Joey) was great in the dining hall. A little shy, but slowly broke out of his shell. For the food, it left us wanting more. Some items were great! Some, not so much. We got a lot of over cooked ...
We have previously done Halloween cruises on Oasis and Harmony of the Seas. The Halloween party on Oasis still remains the best. The party on Allure was much like the one on Harmony and lacked the planning, execution of the show as on Oasis. Without a stage like they had on Oasis it was difficult to see the entertainment or even the passengers that decided to parade in their costumes. On Oasis ...
This was one of the sails that was shorten due to hurricane Dorian. We were bummed but we completely understood it had to be done for everyone's safety. After much discussion my husband and I decided not to cancel our trip and let me tell you, I am very glad we saw it through.
Though we couldn’t go to Haiti or Jamaica, Cozumel, Mexico was still an outstanding experience! We did two excursions: ...
The Allure of the Seas is a massive ship that feels much smaller than it is.
Embarking in Fort Lauderdale we drove from Orlando and had an easy time of it, luggage drop off was smooth, but getting into the parking lot was a bit difficult. The signs are small and the taxis were blocking much of the way.
Getting aboard itself was easy with Royal Caribbean's expedited arrival system. A host ...
I wanted to try the big ship, and it is really big, although being this big brings less focus. There is a list of things to do every day but most of it is self led or not of interest to me. We had a balcony room with ocean view, on deck 12. The room was adequate, and had enough room for a couch. I have been on 17 cruises and my first cruise was on the enchantment of the seas, a much smaller ...
We are pretty loyal HAL cruisers but liked this itinerary. Since we are used to smaller ships, was not sure if we would like this. Overall, enjoyed it and would repeat. On boarding, we were confused about finding our stateroom, 10635. Room numbers only went up to 700. As soon as it hit us that that meant deck 10, room 635, we never had a problem with that. Here are my pros and cons. Cons ...
We sailed on allure of the seas 9/9-9/17. Overall it was great cruise! We flew in the night before and stayed at the embassy suites. Uber was cheaper on all trips to/from airport and cruise port.
Embarkment
Wow. What a difference from a couple years ago. We arrived at 11:15 and was onboard by 11:20. No joke. Utilize all pre-trip options and paperwork.

This was our fourth family cruise and first on RCL. Our previous 3 cruises were all on Carnival: Liberty and Carnival Dream (2). We had not cruised as a family in over 5 years, opting instead for some wonderful all inclusive resort vacations. We figured it was time to give cruising another try. Our twin boys are now 11 years old and the cruise experience would be MUCH different than it was when ...
I sailed onboard this ship (and didn't give it a very good review) some weeks ago, so I decided to give it another try. I'm glad I did! This 7 night Western Caribbean trip was much more enjoyable. There were no problems concerning Roatan (Honduras), which was the subject of my dis-satisfaction last time.
This ship is attractive and in the most part, kept clean. The guests onboard were ...
The ship Was so beautiful. I loved the walks in Central Park and hearing the birds during the day and critics at night. The ship was always clean. The staff were all exceptional from housekeeping to the wait staff, even the towel staff.. we enjoyed the zip line, boardwalk was beautiful . We saw movies and enjoyed mamma Mia and blue planet. There’s so much to do the the boat. My boys 17&8 enjoyed ...
