1-10 of 833 Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades) to the Bahamas Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas Cruise Reviews
We had never been on one of Royal Caribbean's larger ships. The Allure of the Seas did not disappoint.
We were especially impressed with the quality of the shows. Mamma Mia, the ice show and the water/diving show were all amazing. They will be etched in my mind forever! I loved the activities onboard and was pleasantly surprised that they offered pickleball each morning and provided ...
The Solarium area was closed completely (including the Bistro and Samba Grill) for the first 4 days of the cruise. Additionally, the Beach Pool and access to the women’s restroom on the pool deck was blocked off the entire cruise while the pool was being refurbished. Once the Solarium opened back up, the hot tubs near the Solarium were closed. These closures caused overcrowding in the pool areas, ...
Let me start off by saying this was not my first time on the Allure of the Seas. I was on this ship about 5 years ago, and was in awe of the architecture and entertainment on board. This time around I also was amazed by the sheer artistry of this ship. I'm going to break up this review in parts so it is easier to read.
FOOD:
The food was even better than I remember it being the first time I ...
Have been on a couple other cruise lines, but Royal Caribbean is always a favorite of our family.
Last Cruise we had our two teenage boys with us and although they were in the adjoining cabin, we rarely saw them. I was nervous initially about their age group (and the Allure has not been through the Royal Upgrade yet (with waterslides and bunch of other perks)) but there were so many ...
We were a group of 9 (two families + two singles) who chose this cruise as a "splurge" for a group vacation this year.
I’ll preface by saying this was our first trip on an Oasis class ship, so we did have that “WOW” factor added to our experience.
EMBARKATION: An absolute breeze. We arrived about 45 minutes early but they still allowed us right on. We had an 8 year old (vaxxed) so we went ...
We were a family group of 12 ranging in ages from 13 to 75 with 2 grandparents, our 2 children and spouses, their 5 children and one girlfriend. All of us had traveled together on Harmony of the Seas in 2018 and had loved it. We grandparents have been on 26 cruises with several different lines .. We all drove to the terminal, two groups parked on site, one group rented a van so were delivered to ...
Main Dining - We have always chosen My Time Dining because of the flexibility and I am the person that may be hungry at 5pm or 9pm depending on the day. My partner has filed the complaint with my stomach many times. On this cruise by the time we boarded at 1:00pm there were no MTD reservations available until after 8:00pm even if you wanted to plan your dining around shows and other activities. ...
We took this cruise because the cruise we booked for our daughter’s graduation present the year before was cancelled due to the pandemic. We had been on this ship when it was new and we were really impressed so we booked the ship again for a different itinerary. Our friends that were first time cruisers also went with us We had bragged up the ship telling them how fabulous the food was and the ...
There were several issues, none of which were resolved even after talking with the manager.
The bathroom door was broken but never got fixed. The place to put your shampoo and conditioner was broken and never got fixed.
Got unlimited specialty dining and after the second burnt steak at Chops Grille, I gave up.
Who ever is running the sound for the Ice Games show needs to turn the sound ...
Embarkation was quick and we were able to get right on the ship. We chose this cruise because we had cruised on this ship twice before and to join friends who had also cruised on this ship in the past. The itinerary was the same as most eastern Caribbean cruises but docked at San Juan at 2:00PM which suited us since we like to go for cappiccino coffee. The crew that we encountered were awesome! ...
