This was a real experiment for me as we usually get balcony cabins. However, there were going to be 3, maybe even four of us and I wanted the extra cabin space. I also wanted to try the lower level to see what it is like to look out at the ocean more at ocean level. This ended up being a great cabin. There ended up being only 3 of us and the room has the two twin beds that convert to a king - we kept them as twins. There was a very small bunk room/area that could be closed off with a curtain and had it's own closet. And then there was a convertible sofa (that is supposed to sleep two?) - Maybe small kids. My teen daughter (5'5") opted for the sofa bed and we left it down and made up as a bed the whole time. She couldn't fit either horizontal or vertical on it without her feet hanging off - so she slept on it diagonally - plus she sleeps curled up. She said she was very comfortable. I had read reviews that complained of the beds being hard or uncomfortable - we didn't find this at all - we were all comfortable. The pillows could have been better, but we slept fine. We used the little bunk area as a changing area and for storage. This cabin is big with plenty of floor space - so still lots of room even leaving the sleeper sofa down the whole time. The bathroom is small/average - so it would have been tight with 4-6 people. It's not like having a suite - but the space in the room is a nice bonus. Also, this room is at the very end of the hall - so VERY quiet. On the ship floor plans it looked like you could go straight to the skating rink, but you can't. - you have to go up to level 4 (casino) or level 5 (promenade) to get to midship or back of ship - for skate rink or dining you have to go up and then back down. It is at the front of the ship - so convenient to go up one level to the Arcadia Theater or to level 5 for promenade - pizza is at this front end of the boat. The other thing we learned is you can get ice and water out of the coke machines by the pizza- even without the drink plan. We were filling our water bottles constantly. Also, it is convenient to go down one floor to the forward gangway when in port - BUT the forward gangway isn't always available. You have a hike to the dining at the back of the boat - but we found this to be good to force us to walk off some of what we ate. We had rough seas one sea day and this location - so low and somewhat to the center was ideal - very little motion. We loved this room and location and I'm glad I tried it. Read Less
