Good sized stateroom with large balcony it was aft and although a bit of a walk was nice and quiet .we opened up the balcony with my family next door which made it perfect for us to enjoy our bottle of champagne and watch ship leave Barcelona.
The bedding is very tired and stateroom and bathroom could do with a spruce up but our attendant Victoria was a gem . Read entire member review >>
It was a little worn but fine for our needs. The bed was fine. The shower is very small. The stateroom attendant Dale was excellent. We loved being on the port side and seeing all the action when we docked at the various ports. We could hear our neighbors a bit but nothing out of the ordinary. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was very nice. It was plenty large enough with ample storage space. Shower was nice and hot, with very good water pressure, although being small. It is a little hike to the elevators but no big deal to us. Room attendant, Jessica, is fantastic!! Bed is by the balcony door. Very nice balcony, and the room was extremely quiet all cruise long. Cabin was great. We unpacked and put luggage in closet for room. Our balcony was great. The room was big enough. The bed was comfortable. The safe was handy. No clock in room. Used cell phone to keep up with time and to shine light for going to bathroom during the night. We turned our phones to airplane mode and turned off wifi so we could still take pics without racking up international charges. Read entire member review >>
We were very happy with our cabin. Everything was in good condition, and our steward Mart was fantastic, fun to chat with and efficient at getting his work done. We spend on a balcony because we spend a bunch of time in our room and it was a good place to be.
We travel in an aft location on ships quite often, and the vibration felt in the cabin on this ship was not the worst or the best we've experienced, I'd place it a little more vibration than average - but it doesn't particularly bother us. Read entire member review >>
We stayed in a balcony cabin on deck 8, #8682, port side, very far aft because we booked rather late, but we didn't feel a thing. The ship doesn't have odd noises - no creaking. The cabin has was a very good size, with plenty of storage and a nice size shower with doors - no fighting the shower curtain like you do on older ships. I do wish they'd reconstruct the toilet set up - you have to reach around and move the lid to flush - yuk. It would also be nice to have lounge chairs on the balcony so we could really relax and perhaps snooze out there. The thermostat was a bit wacky - it was either too hot or too cold in the room and we never could find that magic balance. The cabin was clean and in no disrepair. Bedding was super comfortable. The blow dryer provided was lame - it burns itself out after just a few minutes, so bring your own. All in all, I would stay in this cabin again. Read entire member review >>
We were in cabin 6698 . This room was about 3 from the very back. We never heard any noise . it was one of the best cabins we have ever had. The room was bigger than expected. We had a very nice large sofa, a flat screen TV and the beds were very comfortable. The linens were so soft and comfy. There was lots of storage and the large suit cases fit nicely under the bed. The bathroom was your standard cruise ship bathroom however the shower curtain was replaced with shower doors. Much better. The balcony was not as large as some but was quite adequate. The room was very clean and no unpleasant smell at all. Read entire member review >>
Standard Balcony Cabin. No obstructions. Right behind the "hump" ... I find that I really like being close to the aft elevators. Not too far of a walk. Not too much noise even though it's right across the hall from the steel "crew door". Read entire member review >>
Nice location mid-ship, away from elevators/stairs. Quiet location. Beds very comfortable. Balcony was great, fantastic views for sailaway, in and out of ports and sunrise/sunset. Spacious closet plus two hooks across from closet to hang items. In-room safe small but sufficient. Vanity with two mirrored cabinets plus one in the bathroom. Water pressure was amazing in the shower! Plenty of space for two. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was spacious with ample room in the bathroom, closet, and bed area. We had a safe for our valuables, a desk and large mirror, drawers for clothing, a minibar, outlets for charging electronics, and television to watch CNN, Fox, CBS etc and Royal Caribbean International's TV channel. Be sure to watch the Cruise Director's show every morning. You also can review how much money you spend on the ship at the Account Review menu on the TV. And of course the balcony was incredible with two chairs and a table and was about 10 ft long and 5 feet wide. Our cabin was the third from the last cabin aft before the ship curves to form the stern. Although we could hear the low hum of the engines it didn't prevent us from sleeping. You can notice the gentle rolling of the ship when lying down but it didn't hinder our sleep. We had a phone which I used for room service, wake-up calls, and to receive calls from anywhere on the ship. There was plenty of lighting in our cabin and the twin beds made for a very comfortable king sized bed. Read entire member review >>
Good balcony, good amount of space, located near an elevator/stairwell area but not so close as to hear noise. Right above the main dining room, up a few decks and you're right at the Windjammer/Chops/Portofino. Read entire member review >>
Room 6372 - Balcony was huge, we had 4 people in the room on a King Bed and a couch that converted to a double (Which they never closed back to a couch). Bathroom was tiny and shower would spray everywhere when turned on. Closet is big so take extra hangers. Location a little far from stair well, but hallways are huge between rooms. We loved Cabin 6656 on FOS. it was just the right distance from the elevators/stairs, it was far enough away to avoid noise of guest traffic but close enough for easy access. Being one floor up from the Royal Promenade was very convenient for the same reasons. The rest of the cabin was as expected. very nice and clean. in the bathroom, I really like the curved shower door instead of a curtain. the door solves the problem of flooding that seems to occur on showers with a curtain
This cabin is directly above the main dining room and overlooked the promenade walkway that bumps out over the water. We loved being able to people watch from our balcony. The balcony is fairly large and could have accomodated a lounger which would have been nice. Read entire member review >>
the closets were very small with limited shelving which is disappointing. not too far from the elevator. even though its above the promenade you never heard anything, it is across from the stewards service area but you couldnt hear anything either Read entire member review >>
7 aft port. Superior balcony. Perfect size. Great comfy beds clean, loved breakfast on balcony every morning in our robes. Our steward Salvatore was super. Kids cabin interior clean, spacious and convenient. Read entire member review >>
