The cabin was our choice in an effort to save a little money. It was clean, comfortable and our room steward was excellent. We did find the cabin small. Our last cruise we had a room with a balcony. On our future cruises we will go back to the balcony room. We really enjoyed watching the sunset and the ocean breezes. Read entire member review >>
Extremely small cabin for 150 sq ft poor layout make room smaller. Room needs to be updated since 2002..old furniture.understood you get what you pay for, however, other cruise lines we recently sailed, Princess,Celebrity, even HCL have far superior accommodations for same dollar. There are absolutely no bathroom amenities except a small flat silver dollar cake of soap. and shampoo in shower on the wall. Towels are old and quite used. soft, no! Really hate to be negative but this is our review. Unfortunately, RCCL is 4th on the ratings list according to Conde Nast Traveler at only 79%. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was way bigger than we expected. A huge bed, a sofa, a wardrobe with lots of hangers and a safe. A reasonably sized shower/toilet. The TV showed loads of promotional stuff for RCI but also stations showing stuff you may want to watch. Check it out, you may be on show if you were at the 70's disco party!! We were! Our cabin was clean and had a view looking out onto to inside of the main area of the ship. The bathroom was nice I we were pleasantly surprised with the shower having a door instead of a shower curtain. Flat screen TV and adequate storage space was a plus. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was good except that I had to crawl over bed to get in & out of it because the beds were made into a Queen bed. Heard comments that the bed was not that comfortable, and the pillows were terrible which I agree. No shampoo in dispensers in shower, only handout bottles. Read entire member review >>
Problems in the State Room: -
The tv In my state room I could not turn it on or off with the remote guest relations/ customer service was notified but unable to fix the problem or look at options for me.
The shower head did not work properly In the bathroom I was unable to change the water to another sprayer
No clock in the stateroom to show the time for guest that cruising so they don't oversleep
The announcement that are made from the bridge or anyone making the announcement can not be heard inside the state rooms you know the ones that are inside state rooms.
The toilets don't flush every time you push the button in the state rooms.
The air conditioning in the inside cabins hardly works when it's on full blast. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was not clean. Furnishings were fine, but that does not mean a lot when vents were dirty, carpet needed a good cleaning and there was hair in the bathroom on the counter and in front of the shower day one. Read entire member review >>
Our room was immaculately kept. The shower was powerful, the bathroom was clean and towels were replaced twice a day. We had enough door hooks in the bathroom to hang bits plus there was a small washing line in the shower to hang bits to dry.The Tv had a few english speaking channels plus a channel dedicated to kids movies, and we were able to view our account with no issues. The bed was very comfortable, i think we had a memory foam topper, as we had no problem sleeping. We had plenty of hangers and enough storages pace.I can not fault anything in the room. Read entire member review >>
Cabin number 6403, typical cabin, like we have had before....the shower is way too small but I can see why you need to keep it that way. Closet size was just right, not too large but not too small. Lights were good, just enough and not too much...nice tough having the main switch at the bed, so you don't have to get up! Could use some more drawer space...maybe get rid of the fridge? Does ANYBODY really take advantage of the snacks in the fridge and get charged $5-8 for a soda or nuts...especially when I can go up on desk, get FREE ice cream or FREE food or pizza at the cafes? Looong walk to the stern of the ship to get to this cabin but it was quiet. Reminder to all: cabins in the very stern or bow (back or front) of the ship DO rock and roll a bit when the waves are more than glass! Read entire member review >>
Room is large enough for two people who don't want to spend much time in there. The bathroom is quite small and takes some getting used to, along with the shower capsule. Everything worked as it should, stayed cool in there without any problem. The safe worked, had hot water, tv was fine, and all the lights worked. Make sure you bring a watch or clock with you because these interior rooms are DARK, I slept until 9am the first morning by mistake because it was so dark in there. Read entire member review >>
Cabin #9665 on Freedom of the Seas has a cabin that vibrates quite a bit from the engines. I felt it most on the commode with the vibration. Closet was fine. Water out of the sink faucet was weak and slow to change temperatures. Read entire member review >>
