I went on this cruise with quite low expectations but would cruise with Fred again. In fact, already booked next January on Braemar from Jamaica to Barbados. On the positive side, the cruise was very enjoyable, with the more unusual Canary Islands being visited - La Palma & La Gomera and also Madeira, Lisbon & Oporto, all very interesting venues. We have done 23 cruises in all but this was the first with Fred Olsen. We enjoyed the cruise very much but we think this was more due to the friendliness of the crew and passengers than any other feature of the cruise. The ship has very limited facilities.
