Frankly we found Frankfurt underwhelming and very disappointing after a wonderful cruise. We booked 3 nights when we would have done better to have flown directly after our cruise. We visited some interesting places to pass the time and did get to eat as some excellent restaurants, but could have used the extra time in Nuremberg ...
From Frankfurt we took the full day tour of Heidelberg. The castle architecture was fascinating, and it provided an opportunity to get some great photos of the town.
