It is hard to compared cruise companies, especially if the itineraries are quite different, but it seems that comparisons between SilverSeas and Regent Seven Seas makes sense. One week cruise from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janiero. The worst thing that happened on this cruise is as soon as we entered Brazilian waters, NCL added a 25% tax on every beverage in our so-called free beverage package. I took cruises back to back from Buenos Aires to Rio and from Rio to Barcelona on the NCL Star. I am Sapphire and have taken 17 cruises already with NCL. These cruises were definitively the worst I have taken with NVL so far. Why?
1 Cabin cleaning was restricted to once a day, but the tips were increased to 20 USD per day.

Holland America's Navigator is a poor Joke. HAL internet is like dial-up on a party line. Painfully slow, many sites won't load, not talking YouTube or games, you can barely get basic emails.
