Once I have said that the crew were excellent and the food really good I have said all the positive things I could say about this cruise. The ship was just not up to standard. I do not know how some of the passengers were able to shower as the shower cubical was so tiny. There was no where to sit in the cabin other than on the bed, thankfully the balcony had two chairs we could sit on when it ...
We chose this cruise because the price was very attractive, but buyer beware - they charge for absolutely everything on the cruise. Over the course of a week, it really adds up;, and we do not drink much or gamble. The biggest problem in every department was a lock of training, both in how to do the job and in what the job really is. There is absolutely no emphasis on friendliness or service, ...
We are experienced cruisers and had never sailed on MSC before. When we saw an attractive offer we thought we'd try them. The Armonia is one of their oldest ships and in need of a major refreshment. From the minute we boarded we were bombarded with offers of drink packages, spa treatments and all types of upcharges. No one to greet us when we boarded. The WiFi packages are outrageously expensive. ...
This was cruise number 19 for Fred & Lily and as much fun as all our other Caribbean cruises where we're just happy to get away from the Canadian winter for a short time.
Cruised on MSC Divina in 2017 and have done several Costa cruises so we knew what to expect in terms of European passenger mix, multiple languages, food and entertainment.
Travelled as a small group of eight with cabins ...
Embarkation was smooth and quick. We used a kiosk to register our credit card for use with our cruise card, upon embarkation. The lines were sort of long (understandably). The kiosks were confusing and difficult to use.
The buffet was a zoo during lunch the day of embarkation and breakfast the day of disembarkation. Way too many people. Food dishes being empty when finally getting to it. ...
My wife and I have been on this ship several times. We had a deck 9 balcony cabin which was good. Nice quiet cabin. The railing outside needed to be refinished. other wise as expected.
On the first night did the Mystery Dinner. it was good. The meal in Giovannis was good. Nice start.
Food in MDR seemed a bit cut back. Coffee every where was yuk. Not as good as before. Not as good as NCL in ...
My husband and I are not first-time cruisers. We've been on 2 Carnival cruises, Celebrity and now MSC. On this cruise, we visited Costa Maya, Belize, Honduras and MSC's private Bahamian island, Ocean Cay. Now, let's start with the positives... We had fantastic weather overall. The ship was beautiful. The service on the ship was decent - especially our servers in the dining room - John and Adonay. ...
Princess Lines sponsors the Concerts at Sea voyage which we have taken several years. It is well run by Harmon Travel and is a great value. Service was excellent and food was better than on previous Princess cruises. This was definitely an over 60 year old cruisers tour. Very few children, could count them on two hands in total. Employees and customers were all very helpful to disabled people ...

Overview:
Royal Caribbean owes us a refund! The condition of the vessel and subtle changes made to cut costs has demonstrated that the company is more concerned with the bottom line that in pleasing its customers.
Embarkation:
We embarked at the Port of Galveston. TSA security seemed more rigorous than ever before. We were never before subjected to a full body pat down, even though my ...
