MSC Sinfonia is one of the oldest ships in the fleet, so don't book for the things it doesn't have, such as Yacht club, speciality dining, robot bartenders, water slides, and big production shows. Book for the destination ports and value for money.

Have cruised many times, usually on P and O, this time we flew to Tenerife, cruised around Canaries, Madeira, mainland Spain, Sardinia, and Greece. We really enjoyed the ports, flights were good too. The staff on board Azura were lovely, very hard working and always willing to please. Our cabin was a balcony and light and airy, but showing its age.

A Transatlantic cruise is a great way to escape the European winter and be away for Christmas. The seas are nearly always calm and after several crossings we have always enjoyed smaller passenger numbers. That means better service and less hustle and bustle.

I have nothing but good stuff to say about the ship and its staff. The blue collar workers you meet in the hallways and at the restaurants? Exceptional. My cabin was kept spotless, the hallways I walked were always clean and neat. Did a 3 night mini cruise and had an enjoyable time overall.
We weren’t fans of the breakfast and lunch buffets; it was too much a canteen. We are used to P&O and Royal Caribbean where you are able to help yourself rather than queue for someone else to put everything on the plate for you. The ship itself is wonderful, well laid out, constant cleaning & maintenance daily.
Very clean & fantastic staff in bars, pool area’s & toilets.
The buffet has plenty of choices although food could be hotter at times.
My biggest gripe are the reception & excursion staff. I’m not sure how they were employed as customer service should be first & fore within any company.
