Worse cruise ever!

Review for Eurodam to Mediterranean

User Avatar

Old ship, not remodeled. Staff on the ship work very hard, could not overcome poor management and worse leadership. 1- no smoking ship but when we complained about the cabin next door smoking all time. They were to busy to do anything. Several trips to the front desk. 2- very poor communication from the top. 3 - should have left and returned from Venice but instead we got a very ...

Service Good, but experience levels are confusing

Review for MSC Magnifica to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

We were visiting Venice and added on this cruise since the price was very good. Stayed in suite on deck 12, cabin 12047 specifically (with Aurea package). Cabin steward was good. Cabin spacious, but layout a bit odd. Approximately 15 feet wide by 33 feet long. Bed headboard was next to interior bulkhead, sometimes carts hit the bulkhead while sleeping. Also, cabin is located underneath a ...

Sailed from Tilbury for 2 day staycation 4 adults plus 22 month old toddler We all provided proof of double vaccine and paid £72 for little one to have test by the company Disney use. Arrived at Tilbury with 2.15 embarkation slot. Had the Disney app already downloaded so had everything organised. Waited in line for half hour then told we all need another lateral flow test. Even the little one ...

First 'post-covid' International cruise: from Southampton to Spain & Canaries (no Portugal) and lessons learnt.

Review for Celebrity Silhouette to Europe - British Isles & Western

There should never have been the amount of stress pre cruise that we (English) and especially the Americans were put through. The lack of communication from Celebrity was a common theme. We all jumped through hoops to get on this cruise. Pre- embarkation we had to arrange for PCR tests within 3 days of leaving. The choice was use Eurofins, recommended and linked to Celebrity who then forward ...

Picked this cruise as it was from Southampton so no flying. Great thing about this ship is the crew, all helpful and happy, great stateroom on deck 10,food very good in the MDR, not the usual choices in the buffet, which was disappointing ( perhaps because there were only approx 1300 guests onboard ), precautions taken re covid were very good ,but there was four cases, three of these were taken ...

Review for Norwegian Epic to Europe - Western Mediterranean

User Avatar

We booked this cruise with open eyes and performed every piece of diligence possible with the information available, but Norwegian managed to 'con' us, and as we learned onboard many other customers. From the home page online you quickly find the Sail Safe section which clearly states everyone onboard is vaccinated and there are no shore excursion restrictions (correct as of August 2021), but ...

Post Covid British Isles Cruise - some changes but overall very good

Review for Anthem of the Seas to Baltic Sea

User Avatar

We decided to book a british isles cruise as we needed a break and have not been able to get to our usual cruise destination of the carribbean in nearly two years. We are two adults with no children and cruise Royal/NCL and Carnival mainly. Embarkation; We expected this to take a bit longer than usual due to covid requirements but it was actually very smooth and we were on the ship from ...

COVID Management like a Jail

Review for Costa Deliziosa to Mediterranean

User Avatar

10+ Cruises • Age 60s

The COSTA COVID Activities are far too hard compared with other Cruise companies. Costa guests are NOT allowed to go alone from the board (in other Cruise companies is this allowed). You feel like in jail if you go with COSTA! It is better to wait with cruises with Costa as long as the COVID activities are mandatory. We had to book for every port a costa trip. Even if we would only to go in ...

Review for Regal Princess to Europe - British Isles & Western

User Avatar

My review is based on my experience and the elements important to me. I travelled solo in a balcony cabin on the base fare. Medallion App Pre departure experience was disappointing, the app needs a re work and it caused a lot of stress. On board the support was brilliant and then it worked fine, look forward to it being involved in the future to include more elements Terminal ...

Review for Regal Princess to Europe - British Isles & Western

User Avatar

We have cruised with Princess many times, this would be our first time on Regal Princess, or any other ship this size. Because of Covid the ship was only half full and adults only. It was seven nights in duration, and calling at Liverpool, Belfast and Greenock (for Glasgow). Embarkation/Disembarkation We had already completed all the documentation requirements on the Medallion App, and ...
