We booked this cruise while on a cruise in 2019 to happen in 2020. The 2020 cruise was canceled and rebooked for 2021 which was canceled and booked for 2022. Then about the end of January 2022 we started to think there might be hope the cruise was going to happen as we were ready and needed a get a way. This cruise was my 69th cruise and Kathy's 4th and was most enjoyable. The Explorer which ...
I chose this cruise for the itinerary and also booked this ship for a future repositioning cruise. I will be canceling the repositioning cruise asap. They only have lettuce salad with the fixings three times during the week???? What is that about? Have never been on a ship where this wasn’t available in the Windjammer. The only reason I came to the Windjammer was because the pizza on deck 5 was ...
Despite the many hoops to get onto the ship which included a Covid test no more than 48 hours before getting on the ship, forms and vaccination validations for both the RCL and Puerto Rico - it was great to be on a cruise again.
The ship was beautiful and many nuances that made it delightful. Cabanas to lie on the deck, cushions on the
chaise longue, and very, very, very Clean.

I chose this cruise as a replacement for the one that COVID-19 got cancelled back in March 2020. This one had the same departure location (San Juan) and actually a bit of a better itinerary (6 island stops). I had never cruised with RCL before but heard good...boy was I wrong. Here is what went wrong for my combined group of 7, 4 cabins:
1. The terrible customer service started after we ...
For comparison, we are a family of four, myself (51), wife (50) and two boys (14, 16) who selected two balcony cabins (9670 and 9672). Fully vaccinated. Tested negative to PCR tests 48-hours before sailing.
Embarkation - In the RC app, you are asked to select your arrival time and are reminded several times, via the app and email, to show up during your selected window. The earliest time I ...
I chose this cruise because I wanted to do something special for the whole family for the Thanksgiving holiday. This was in port every day to places we hadn’t previously been, and it looked really interesting. I arranged flights for me, my wife, and 4 adult children through Royal Caribbean Air2Sea. The plan was to arrive the night before and use an Air BNB in San Juan Puerto Rico.
5 of us ...
COVID-era cruising is a completely different animal, understandably so, but if you are bringing kids on the ship, expect to be barred from many of the activities and areas. Unvaccinated guests may only attend certain showings of the performances (which book up very quickly), may only dine at certain times in certain areas, and are unwelcome at many of the ship’s events and activities. Our large ...
As a Crown and Anchor Platinum member...the overall experience was horrible. The food was average at best. The biggest issue I had was that the service was just not even close to what Ive experienced on an RC cruise before. The employees just seemed like they were there to just get a paycheck. I called customer service to discuss my issues as a customer and I felt like they were dismissive and not ...
This was my 1st cruise we upgraded to a Jr Suite abd our accommodations were stellar!! LOTS of room. Only complaint was they could not get the air regulated and it was too hot. We were really glad we decided on a balcony. The ship was nice and we found plenty to do on the ship. I had many spa services and enjoyed everything other than high pressure sales. In fact, I thought that the entire ...
We've cruised for 15 years and this was our first Royal Caribbean cruise. It was very disappointing because the reputation was this was the best cruise line in the industry. The food was terrible and the entertainment was lacking significantly. The ship was not prepared departure took too long and we had to wait like cattle for almost two hours before being able to board the ship. The majority of ...
