Don't Do This Cruise with young Kids

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

This was THE WORST cruise we have ever had. The Cruise itself was OK, but the treatment of families with young kids was no good. If you have ANY kids that still use Nappies and or are not COMPLETELY 100% Toilet trained. This is not the cruise to go on. The Kids club and Pools will not accept any kids that cannot go to the bathroom by themselves, do their business by themselves, and ...

We have been C&A members for many years and been always pleased with the services and treatment on board of RCI ships. We been grateful to the army of the hardworking members of the RCI team, many ymployees, cabin attendants, restaurant workers, cooks, etc. for their efforts to make our vacation comfortable and enjoyable. We never complained. This time, however , we encountered something ...

WORST 10 NIGHTS OF MY LIFE!!

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

First Time Cruiser • Age 20s

It was my first cruise to embark and i was exploring the South Pacific with my sister, we are both in our early 20's. Rock climbing/ Surf Rider and Ice Skating are not available all the time. Putt Putt and Basketball equipment gets packed away at 10pm every night and earlier if they are in Sydney waters. Events are very unorganised and it looks like they have never cruised before but they ...

Worse cruise ever, I could write pages on this awful ship and our horrible experience, so bad in fact that we've sworn to never cruise again. Have cruise several time and loved our experiences, I suggest you read product review on this ship from hell 1.7 out of 5 score. Un friendly crew that can't really speak any English at all, maintenance problems everywhere, Teens were treated like criminals, ...

10 days lost from my life

We have Diamond status on RCL so we are not newbies. We have recently returned from a 10-day cruise to New Caledonia and just lost ten days out of lives that we will never get back again. This cruise was an absolutely terrible experience. I could not believe the inconsistent product everywhere. This cruise did not many of the basics expected from RCL, there was not even one fruit and ...

I chose this cruise on the recommendation of a friend, that I was travelling with who had used Royal Caribbean many times. One the website the ship looked good and had plenty of facilities. The stateroom was dirty and shabby, the linen on the bed was yellow and tatty. The pillows were yellow from the use of many other passengers. The remote control for the tv didn't work. I had to phone 3 ...

Poor service and poor quality food

*I purchased the drink package but unfortunately I found that it was frustrating to try and get service from any of the bars on the ship, partly due to the lack of attention from the bar staff and also due to understaffing of the bars. For example in the star lounge on new years eve, the customers waiting for drinks were 4 to 5 deep but there was a considerable period of time where not a single ...

|As 2 couple we have sailed with Royal Caribbean for many years and enjoyed a high class of service and entertainment. We have done a Christmas cruise from Sydney before but this was the most expensive and worst cruise we have ever been on. Embarkation was quick and our suitcases arrived promptly to our stateroom. The food in the Windjammer was high quantity, low quality. Barely warm sometimes and ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Explorer of the Seas

Family cruise - opportunity to relax together whilst someone else took care of the chores. Total balls up, cabins allocated all over the ship, nowhere near each other, in spite of being same cabin categories. Upgraded 2 of the cabins - but not the repeat clients (5th timers). Meal times not available as booked, meant family split and consequently could not attend shows/events/meals together. ...

Where does one start. Embarkation was very swift, the cruise ship was beautiful with all the bells and whistles and the entertainment was very good..... but.. unfortunately..that is where the pleasantry ended. Service was good from some staff but....I was going to say bordering on rude but will change that to just downright rude from some staff members. That was if you could get service at all ...
