Explorer of the Seas is showing its age now, with many areas looking tired and in need of renovating. Was almost the worst cruise we have been on, only saved from this by having good food and wonderful dining room staff. This was our 14th cruise and 2nd on RCCL. (an 18 nighter and a 10 nighter) The staff in the most part were great but unfortunately many are being used by Head office to endlessly push the drink and restaurant packages instead of serving the guests.
