Great trip to Alaska : Cabin 7132
Beautiful cabin, very well appointed. The balcony is a show stopper and was perfect for Glacier Bay.

We had cabin 5187, a Neptune Suite. The promotion offered an upgrade from a Verandah to a Neptune at a considerably reduced cost. We took the plunge. This was our first time in a suite, and we loved it. You could get spoiled. This cabin has a wrap-around balcony. A dream! I cannot find any disadvantages to the suite itself, the location, or the amenities. We felt like royalty. Free (included) laundry was a plus. The use of the Neptune Lounge with its snacks, great coffee, beautifully appointed with a relaxing ambiance, and with concierge service provided by friendly and personable staff, was a highlight. We met some interesting and friendly people in the Lounge. The Welcome bubbly, fresh flowers and fruits daily, were a welcome luxury. Now, for the accommodations: Two separate areas for closets, his and hers if you will; double sinks in the bathroom; jacuzzi tub and separate (although really tiny) shower; a separate vanity area; an actual living room; a huge desk area. There was so much storage space we did not fill it all. Our only disappointment was that we missed the Welcome Cocktail Reception. We never got an invitation, or perhaps it was taken for granted that we knew. We did not know about it. It happened the day we boarded, before sailing. We can live without a cocktail reception, but it is the principle of the thing. Oh well, this did not spoil our overall experience with the suite though. Read Less

Suite 6164 is a smaller Neptune suite with a great wrap-around balcony. (Aft, port) However, due to many wind and rain factors... we did not use the majority of our balcony... and probably would have chosen a different room had we known. Maybe on a warmer cruise it would have been in better use. also, I would suggest only 2 people for this suite.... maybe a small child would be fine. It's pretty tight... but some people are fine with that. I would suggest for this itinerary to go with a Starboard Aft suite.... all the ports and scenery were on the starboard..fyi Read Less

Cabin is generously proportioned. Pinnacle Suite can't be beat but honestly was more real estate than two people needed for 7 days unless you never leave it. Balcony is large so between that and using the Seaview pool we won't rent a cabana again (no need really unless you just don't like being around other people). Comfortable couch and chairs; plenty of storage. Bed reliably comfortable. Any minor maintenance issues were promptly addressed. A very quiet room; maybe a difference in location or sea conditions but was quieter than the Pinnacle Suite. No sounds from adjacent cabins or above/below (some cabin reviews comment on noise transmission). HVAC and plumbing worked fine (some comments I read complain about these, too). We had a "standard" balcony cabin on MSC DIvina in June which was fine (a little over 200 square feet) but the bed filled most of the room :), so the Neptune Suite at around 500 SF was generously proportioned. Sailing Eurodam again in November 2018 but Neptune was a little pricier than this trip so will be in a Vista Suite astern (have wanted to see if these cabins really are as "peaceful" as some commenters write). Clean, comfortable, wonderful balcony. Two singles instead of the requested double bed. Quilt a bit lumpy (probably from lots of washing). Cabin boys extremely efficient, clean, polite and very helpful.
