The Old School Ship of the Seas should be the name. The actual ship. Needs a paint job and renovations but has a lot of smiling faces on board with the best customer service.

Enjoyable recent cruise to Bermuda/Bahamas on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas
"All of them took the extra time to get to know us and to add to our cruise experience by describing their cultural backgrounds, their families back home, and what it was like to work aboard the cruise ship.It was important to us that the EOTS dining room personnel were not just "servers" to us but individuals who shared and participated in our cruise experience...."Read More

This was my first time on Royal. Probably will be my last unless I get a really cheap deal. The overall experience was average. Some things were fantastic, like the crew. I can't believe how happy, friendly and helpful all of the crew were. Food was below par, worst of any cruise I've been on. In the MDR, most of the food came out cold on the first night. We informed the wait staff and they ...

Great Traditional Cruising

Enchantment is a great ship, smaller in size and easily navigable. If you are looking for bells and whistles with non-stop activities, it is not the ship for you. However, if you like a more traditional, relaxing cruise, then I highly recommend it. Others feel the same as I encountered a number of repeat passengers during the course of my trip. Although showing its age a little, Enchantment is ...

Overall good cruise, Newer ship needed for this itinerary

Port. Boarding and disembarking was seamless and organized. We love Baltimore port! Ship. The ship is showing her age and they are doing their best to keep her maintained but she needs a good refurb or to be scrapped/sold. Lots of rust even though they were constantly painting and doing their best to keep her tidy. Seemed to have a plumbing issue as there was a lot of hammering ...

Hubby and I chose this cruise because it departed on hubby's birthday (my idea) and the embarkation port was within driving distance (we do fly, but did not wish to this time). We have sailed on RCI many times, but have not been on this cruise line for seven years (preferring Celebrity). We have also sailed on NCL. The drive took around 2 hours but it was an easy drive from our home in ...

Enchantment of the Seas - Showing its age?

Hello! I am, by no means, a "professional" cruiser. My wife and I have been on about 6-7 cruises over the last several years, so I think I've done enough to do a comparison. First off, I live in Maryland, so if you do have the means - leaving on a local ship is much easier than airfare to a port, etc. But I realize that some don't have that option. We were comped this cruise after our voyage on ...

We chose this cruise because we could drive to the port and it was a quick 6 day to Bermuda. This was our first cruise after COVID. This itinerary did not start up until May so when I booked it there were no cruise critic reviews that were post COVID. After paying it off reviews started coming in with multiple negative comments on the age of the ship, the activities/shows and some maintenance ...

We were comped this cruise for gambling but it wasn't free after paying port, taxes, applications, tips and upgrade. If I had to do it again, I would reconsider. Starting with all the stress and anxiety with a Bermuda cruise, that in itself, would keep me home. We needed covid test. To be sure, when I called the number they supplied for Bermuda, I was instructed the monday before we left. ...

A Big Disappointment

Disappointing Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas - July 14, 2022 I have been cruising since the 1960’s and mainly on RCCL since the 1980’s, being a Diamond Plus now. I recently sailed on the Enhancement from Baltimore which is a great port to sail from. I had a balcony cabin. It was the biggest disappointment of all my cruises. The ship is almost 25 years old and is worn and tired. It has ...

We chose this ship for a 5Day cruise from Baltimore to Bermuda. With no flight involved (we live local to New Jersey) the port at Baltimore made it convenient to cruise. FIRST - I must say the Crew on the ship was amazing! Every single one of them works so very hard. From the room and restaurant attendants, Bar & Restaurant employees, Entertainment staff, even the bathroom attendants & the ...

Had a good 5-night cruise to Bermuda on Enchantment of the Seas from 9 July to the 14th. It was a bit frustrating to deal with all the pre-board health issues and requirements for getting into Bermuda (yes, I understand the importance and in the end it was a bit of a relief to know everyone else had to through the same thing). Embarkation at Baltimore was fine, although we had go through a ...
