The food and staff where fantastic. We were very disappointed that we didn't get to do the entire cruise. I chose this tour because it covered the Rhine and the Danube rivers. Also, it had the no single supplement available and as a solo traveller this is a bonus as the regular cruise price is very expensive. The staff on the Emerald Sun were very personable and helpful. They addressed you by your first name rather than a generic greeting in most cases. The cruise ship was kept clean and neat. ...

We had sailed Emerald before and rated it highly, so when we decided on the Danube they were our #1 choice. It’s an attractive well maintained ship with plenty of crew.
