14 days, 8 Islands, 4 days at sea. A perfect cruise

What I loved about this cruise was that almost everybody on the ship were 55 or older. No kids and families took this two-week cruise in December. The weather was great. The ship atmosphere was relaxed. Our staff were friendly and attentive. I engaged with most people I came in contact with, asking them how many cruises they have been on, and of course where are they from. (Most everybody ...

Panama Canal Coast to Coast

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Emerald Princess

Our cruise to the Panama Canal on Emerald Princess did not disappoint, it was a great ratio of at sea days vs port days. The embarkation and disembarkation both ran smoothly. The staff were exceptional, especially our cabin steward. On day 1 he got extra hangers for me and removed the small table, replacing it with an extra chair. Our balcony stateroom was faded and the age really showed but it ...

Quality of Princess Onboard Service Remains Outstanding

We booked this cruise at the spur of the moment, and did not shop around to see other options. That said, we were very pleased with the cruise overall. This was our eighth cruise on Princess, and the cruise line's quality of service has always been outstanding for every cruise we've taken over the years. The entire crew are wonderful - they all have a great deal of enthusiasm and are eager ...

I last cruised in 2016 and the first thing I noticed were the improvements made. (Not that the past cruise was bad). The service and staff performed beyond my highest expectations. The food was fabulous, the games and entertainment were top notch and the attention to detail about cleanliness and upkeep was outstanding. I don’t think there are enough superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed ...

Circle the Caribbean 14 days

Seldom get to circle the Caribbean for 14 straight days. Better than two back to backs with having to return to port after 7 days! The entire crew was awesome. The food was excellent with a very good selection. The ships own dancers and shows were great, and the volume wasn’t ear shattering. The guest performers were just OK. The Captain was friendly and always out and about the ship. He was a ...

My spouse and I are both early 60's and this is our 9th cruise with Princess. Our cruise left Ft. Lauderdale on Jan 4th. The AC was working but not to as someone else said, "meat locker" temp. but it worked fine. You just have to leave the patio door shut and not let the air out as we had a Premium Balcony. While the ship was in port our side of ship faced the port and our steward said it ...

Four of us, our friends, my husband and I, took a great 10 day cruise on the Emerald Princess which was relaxing and exactly what we needed. The ship had just come out of dry dock and was fresh and shining. Everything on the ship was lovely. There are great bars, pools, and many places to get away and have some quiet time. We use anytime dining and I made reservations on embarkation day for ...

Another Nice Cruise on Emerald Princess; Dec 7th to 14th

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Emerald Princess

This was the second time we've been on the Emerald. We were on it during its second year in the Mediterranean and now it is seven years old. She still looks very nice and they take good care of her, painting, replacing carpet, etc that we saw while on board. Our mini suite, cabin D114 (portside), was very nice, but we were very forward and did feel the movement a little more than the mid ship ...

We loved the ship from the moment we stepped aboard. It had a warm, friendly feel to it, in spite of carrying over 3,000 passengers. Food: Breakfast was self-service and there was plenty to choose from - fresh fruit, cheese and smoked salmon to bacon and eggs, fluffy American pancakes and even rice pudding. Lunch was also self-service and there was always an interesting variety as well as the ...
