Average only and left feeling a little disappointed.
"In the past, we have always enjoyed the chance to get together in a nice atmosphere and relax with some good food and a decent glass of wine.I say this as a small European that does not eat large portions, so for those that do, I cannot imagine how they felt...."Read More

Princess On the Decline

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Emerald Princess

We’ve been on several Princess cruises and we can see things are on the decline. Service was not as good as what it was before. Most times while eating in the buffet we had to get our own beverages, rarely did anyone ever offer and when they did we waited 15-20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food selection and quality has declined. The buffet also closes and hour earlier than what ...

Emarld Princess Good, Princess Accounting Awful

This was our first Princess Cruise, a 14 day Circle the Caribbean from Ft. Lauderdale in March, 2023. The Emerald Princess and crew were great. But Princess Cruises is so poor and irresponsible with their accounting we won't be sailing with Princess again. Just too risky and they have proven untrustworthy with out money even when they put things in writing. (Details below). The cruise itself ...

We chose this cruise as it was doing 2 weeks without a trip back to Florida, it wasn't a bad choice. We travelled as a group of 9 which we do every couple of years. I know the Emerald Princess is one of the older ships and it is showing its age but we had a nice time. Cabin We had an inside cabin on Baja deck and was looked after by Christina. I think we had 1 of the refurbished cabins ...

This was a trip for a family group of nine, brothers and sisters and partners in 50's / 60's. Previously, we have sailed with both P&O and more with Celebrity. All past experience was pre-covid. Generally, we enjoyed the trip, which isn't exactly surprising as it's no hardship being on a cruise around the Caribbean. However, this, our first experience of Princess, left a little to be ...

I chose this cruise because it was for 14 days going to the Easter and Southern Caribbean. Which we love. I have never cruised on Princess before and was so looking forward to this experience. I will list the good and the bad aspects of our cruise. This was our 16th cruise so we are not newbies. Good first 1. The Hostess in the Michael Angelo dinning room was alway so pleasant asking ...

Food disappoints

This is our 10th cruise with Princess. We are Platinum members and stayed in a suite. My biggest complaint is the food quality and choices. The Club Class menu choices were very disappointing. There was always a steak on the menu. Not this time. Other choices were not as good as before. Escargot used to be every night, not now. In the Crown Grille, you always got 3-4 lobster tails. Now one ...

This particular cruise was on my bucket list for a long time. I'm quite particular when it comes to cruising, because I think it can be a little too regimented for my taste, but going through the canal was something best experienced on a cruise ship. There are certain issues that come up with all travel that are simply not in control of Princess. In this circumstance, we were delayed boarding ...

A Bit Dissappointed

We choose this cruise because of its destinations. Panama Canal, Cartagena, Costa Rica, Grand Turk, Jamaica. I will applaud them for there covid enhancements, people wore their masks and everyone was respectful of this and of spacing. We were disappointed that the ship although clean and kept up it is a bit outdated. The activities were mediocre to boring. Understandably, with Covid ...

We went on this cruise so that we could see the Panama Canal. Overall, I guess it was a good cruise. The captain and leadership staff was not nearly as informative of situations and concerns on the ship as in other cruises taken during Covid times. 4 hour delay from leaving Ft. Lauderdale (no reason provided or announcement made). 4 hour delay leaving Panama (no reason provided or announcement ...

Cruise was a replacement for 03/2020 cancellation. Some aspects were above average, some average and some poor. Condition of ship was poor considering in was refurbished. lots of rust, decks on lido in poor condition. Our refridge had to be repaired, electrical current coming through metal base on beside lamp and only water options in shower` were Hot and Hotter no cold water control and ...
