Long time cruisers, first time with Princess. We chose this sailing based on itirerary and and a recommendation from a neighbor who has used Princess many times. We were in London 3 days pre-cruise with our daughter who went to school there and acted as our tour guide. She stayed stayed on in London to visit friends while we departed for the cruise. Had a great 3 days. We had a glitch ...

We were told the Covid test was free. Then we were suddenly charged £30. By the end of the cruise is went up to £60 each. The food on Deck 15 was most part warm and catered for the American market. A lack of information about what was on shore to visit at each Port and misinformation so that deals were purchased from the ship to travel to the destination recommended elsewhere so the ...

I was looking fir a British Isles Cruise and princess, who I have sailed with before appeared to be perfect, how wrong was I. Princess have introduced a medallion to assist you around the ship for those that worked I’m sure it helped but if it didn’t it seemed impossible to sort it out. From day one we had nothing but problems. The medallion is meant to unlock your cabin door, mine didn’t and i ...

Worst cruise boat I have been on.

I chose this cruise for the region and Princess Cruise Line which I have cruised on in Alaska, Caribbean, and Mediterranean. The service and food on the past cruises were very good to excellent. This cruise has been a poor experience on the boat. The food in the dining room has not been very good and service was very slow. I visited the Explorer Lounge twice and had to go to bar to have someone ...

Originally we were to sail in May 2020, but rescheduled to May 2022. We chose the cruise for the ports. We spent a week in London and Southampton prior to the cruise. and due to the Jubilee, we were glad we did. First the good: unlike other reviews I’ve read, embarkation procedures were pretty organized. Through the Medallion app, I was able to get us to the green lane for boarding. (Weeks ...

Our cruise was great til Holyhead Wales. It was a cold and windy day and on way into shore our tender boat stalled and couldn’t restart. We drifted in the waves and hit the shore wall grinding the under carriage of the boat. After multi failed attempts to start the tender and drifting a rescue tender was called. The rope we were attached to our rescue broke and a second was attempted. This time we ...

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Emerald Princess

Went on Pacific Coast tour in October and I couldn't believe how horrible the buffet food was on this trip. I admit this is my second cruise on Princess and most likely my last as the thought of being on a cruise for a long duration and having to eat horrid food with questionable sanitation at tables each time we eat there is not my idea of vacation. The food was bland, dry, and at times tasted ...

We took this cruise because my husband is wholly dependent on a walker due to his rehabilitating from two broken femurs (thighbones). It was convenient to where we live and didn't involve air travel. In addition, it was mostly sea days. It started off badly, with the wheelchair supervisor slamming the footrest down on my husband's shin while assisting him into the chair. He didn't apologize or ...

We had been looking forward to this cruise for several years. We were celebrating a significant anniversary and we had had a wonderful experience on a previous Princess cruise. The ship sailed from Vancouver to the Hawaiian islands and back. It was a 15 day cruise. The ship itself was clean but not maintained all that well. There were mysterious wet spots on the carpeting in some areas and ...
