We had two cruises canceled in the past two years due to COVID - a 14 day Mediterranean n June 2020 and a Thanksgiving 2021 cruise to Aruba. Since we had to use our cruise credits, we booked a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean in 2022, shortly after Carnival Inc completed its restart - or so they claimed.
The restart of service lags behind the k bel of service we previously expected from ...
My 8th cruise, my 5th with Carnival. I always have a balcony.
Ship was being cleaned, counters being wiped down, and floors being washed, swept, you name it, it was being cleaned.
Simon the cruise director was awesome. The best cruise director I have had on any of my prior cruises. The shows were spellbinding. The show 88 Keys was riverting. The casino was a lot of fun with a wide selection ...
Our recent trip on Carnival was one that I wish we never booked. The boat is older and the employee's are angry. The boat is boring and the Cruise director is not very creative. The activities were more for assisted living entertainment. The shows were very good but it you spend two days at sea and the entertainment is Trivia and Bingo. The pools are just tubs. You can't swim in them and there ...
This was my 4th Royal Caribbean Cruise but, my first with kids. I have only cruised with Royal Caribbean and have sailed on the Sovereign of the Seas (Sovereign Class Retired), Enchantment (Vision Class), and now the Jewel of the Seas (Radiance-class).
The Jewel is a Radiance-class cruise ship and holds about 2500 passengers. This was my first cruise since 2015. We traveled to Miami to board ...
This was the first time on Celebrity. We usually cruise on Royal Caribbean. It is always great to cruise! We cruised this time because our Tour Planner got us a great price. We both enjoyed everything on the cruise. We used the ship excursions because of Covid although we discovered that we could have gone on our own. The only area that we were dissatisfied was the evening theater entertainment. ...
I say the best cruise ever since I have been on 50+ cruises both with my hubby (who has gone on his permanent cruise) and alone. This ship and staff and crew were so exceptional that I had to write this review to acknowledge every person that I had interacted with and the passengers as well. Even though this ship is an "oldie" (and so am I) she still had much to offer.
The food on the buffet ...
10 day cruise out of Tampa. Left a day early, stayed @ Ramada Wyndham (free shuttle from airport) For this cruise we choose Concierge class balcony, & Premium Beverage package. Embarkation was the smoothest we ever experienced, they had plenty of staff guidance. We had downloaded the Celebrity App beforehand, and completed the check-in process ( including uploading proof of vaccination & a ...
We chose this cruise because we got a great deal on it and heard it was a wonderful cruise line. We have been on other cruises and thought this would be an upgrade. The food is ok. Nothing great and the same old same old at the buffet. We finally got ranch and blue cheese salad dressing on day 5. No variety. So it’s exactly the same over cooked food. At the omelette station on day 7 the girl that ...
Having returned from a very enjoyable cruise on QM2 15 day round-trip Ft Lauderdale, I can report with only 1600 Passengers, Cunard did all they could to contain any outbreak of covid with mandatory mask wearing but sill a large number of passengers were taken off the ship at different ports with covid and others confined to their staterooms for 5 days for tests, having been traced as a covid ...
We were happy with a Cunard cruise on The Queen Elizabeth in 2019 so we booked this cruise on the Queen Mary 2.
The service was outstanding and the ship is very beautiful. I really like the formal atmosphere of the evening, especially on gala nights.
I agree with some other reviews that food in the buffet is better than food served in the formal dining room.
We were told by Cunard ...
