Good trip and staff. Stay out of casino

Review for Allure of the Seas to Caribbean - Eastern

Long time traveler on royal. Diamond plus. Signature at casino royale. Ship less than 1/2 capacity. So not crowded. Staff excellent especially in coastal kitchen, suite lounge, solarium restaurant, and windjammer. Staff made guests feel welcome. Cabin attendant was excellent. Kept room perfect stocked with ice. Casino was the opposite. Slots not paying off. Worse than any ...

Great to be back Cruising Again!

Review for Allure of the Seas to Caribbean - Eastern

We were excited to be back on the high seas and it was our first cruise on an Oasis Classed ship. Our last cruise was in 2018 on Celebrity Reflection. We have been on 15 cruises with several RCCL, Celebrity, Carnival, HAL, and Princess. Celebrity had been our favorite up until the last experience with them. We tired of the endless beatings for the drink packages, automatic tips, reduced offerings ...

Good, but not GREAT

Review for Norwegian Gem to Caribbean - Eastern

Let me start by saying that there was a lot of Good about this cruise. Just not enough. Had a nice time in Miami prior to my cruise. Embarkation went very smoothly (except they need to put a sign or arrow outside of the COVID Testing room or have an employee standing outside waving people in). Once I found my way into the testing area the process was simple and took about 15-20 ...

So Very GOOD to Be Back!

This was our first cruise since January of 2020, with six canceled cruises in between. We have previously sailed aboard the Oasis and Harmony of the Seas, so we were already familiar with the basic layout of the ship. Passengers aboard appeared to be about 25-30 percent of actual capacity, which was wonderful from the boarding process to the departure, and everything in between. Food in the ...

We have had 7 cruises cancelled and frankly I thought this one would be also. I booked this cruise as I was excited about going to Bimini; what a letdown. They need to develop their tourism as there isn't anything to see or do there except go to the beach. It looked like a flat "ribbon of land" island that was mostly residential and the houses looked nice and new. We walked down to the Hilton ...

Better than Ever Before

Review for Carnival Magic to Caribbean - Eastern

I’d like to start off by saying how impressed I was with this ship and the staff. Granted, they were sailing at around 50% capacity making it very spacious everywhere, but the crew were more helpful than any other main cruise lines I’ve been on. Boarding from parking to sitting at a bar with my first glass of champers took 1.5 hours (this included completing the muster drill and a quick spa ...

The service was brilliant, entertainment was good, ship was okay, but the destinations were subpar.

This was my 7th cruise on Carnival. Although the Carnival Magic was not a bad ship, the layout was strange compared to all the others I've been on and not to my liking; most of the hot tubs were cold, the ones on the Serenity deck were always full and this was on a cruise only 70% full. The main pool was small and seemed out of place. On a positive note, it had lots for kids to do and also had ...

Carnival Magic - The Magic Has Returned

My wife and I selected this cruise for the price and to return to cruising even with COVID. We completed COVID testing at a CVS. Receiving our negative test, a sigh of relief...lets go cruising. Our cabin was on Lido Deck, interior. Boarding was very quick (from start to sitting waiting to board) was about 15 minutes. There were many protocols in place but none that affected our cruise. We took ...

This cruise was sort of rescheduled from the Norwegian Joy back in January 2021 which was canceled, then we switched to the Gem sailing out of the Dominican Republic, which was itself canceled, whereupon we switched to the Joy and then it was replaced by the Gem. To be honest, with all that's been going on in the world, we didn't know if this cruise would sail, either. We got our COVID test two ...

MSC Meraviglia 9-18-2021. MER-A-VI-LIA "Wonder" in English silent G We had 2 cabins on this cruise we took for my mothers 96th birthday.
