We initially chose this particular cruise because of the lovely itinerary and for a special pre retirement holiday. We had cruised with MSC three times previously and although it was not the best quality cruise line it was always an acceptable standard, reasonably priced and had good itineraries.

Room not clean - asked to be cleaned again prior to unpacking had to ask for clean pillowcases, face washers
Tv not working No satellite reception once you leave a port
Water not given at dinner time in restaurant you had to pay for a bottle.
No chairs on deck 7 under shelter to sit away from the pool area.

The cruise was over populated with passengers. No dining facilities available at breakfast & lunch. By the time you waited for a seat the buffet was closed.At excursions we were treated as if we were in a government facility where we need to stand in long lines. We chose this cruise because it left from Durban, South Africa which allowed us to tick off a stay at Kruger National Park as well as a visit to Petra in Jordan.
The cruise embarkation in Durban would have to have been the longest, most shambolic and most disorganised we have EVER experienced.
