In general a relaxing experience which can easily be improved if MSC wants to. Issues that needs attention is the most terrible coffee being served, there is no reason to serve such disgusting coffee and no person on the cruise including staff said that they liked it. Being our second cruise we took cappuccino sachets with, but surely they MUST be willing to serve better coffee. And then ...
We had an opportunity to go on our first ever cruise to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had high expectations and prepared ourselves accordingly. Our first disappointment came when the promised wheelchair for my husband was not available. The waiting to board on account of the passport control computer glitch added to our woes. These two setbacks caused a great deal of discomfort ...
We choose that cruise for the itinerary, apity that it was only one day at Reunion and no stop in Madagascar.
The Boat itself was great, cabin nice, and food average, but what a disater in embarkation where the staff let us wait for over one hour and thirty minutes , as their Pc was offline before they decide to do the check manually we could hardly understand what they were anouncing on the ...
We’ve been on ptevious cruise which was very enjoyable. Having said that we realize that the very busy cruises doesn’t suit us. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful but some were abrupt and clearly tired of the masses and their demands.
Our formal dining was especially a big let down. Our waiter was not helpful and friendly and the portions were not adequate and we were hungry ...
The cruise was very over crowded. Unless you have a spacious balcony room where you can enjoy a view and privacy there is no place on the ship where you do not compete with your fellow passengers for a space to just sit and relax.
Even the children's entertainment was over crowded. Before going on the cruise my children ( 6 and 12) was very excited to join the childrens activities until they ...
The cruise was an overall disappointing experience. I have been on two cruises on the MSC Sinfonia and that was by far a much better ship and cruise experience as compared to the MSC Musica. Firstly the ship looked rather old and rundown. The rooms looked good but the not at all stable. The roof and doors creeked whilst in motion and made unusual noises disturbing the sleep we tried to get. The ...
After having cruised the first time in 2016 on the Sinfonia and accidently selecting a cruise where there were hundreds of matriculants who we thought were very out of control, we thought we would have to book another cruise where there would be a family environment, so we booked a 5 night cruise with the Musica. We thought that without all the unruly youngsters and being a another ship things ...
We wanted to find out what the hype was all about and to find out if this is the type of thing we would like to do in future.
We will surely try it again but we will make use of a better knowledgeable agent next time.
We will NEVER stay in an inside cabin again -EVER!
We will make sure that we travel at a time when there will be fewer children on the cruise as they occupied ALL the ...
Other Friends have been on similar Sinfonia cruises. Although I checked their photos and the Sinfonia has more to offer and looked better than the Musica. My first cruise and the experience was worthwhile and good for an experience.
There was still adequate facilities for the entire family's entertainment. Overall food quality was good with good variation on the dinner dining choice everyday. ...
Was a bit boring not much too do swimming pools were full no games for kids. Expected much more. Some staff were quite rude and not helpful at bar and dining. And lunches. Was an interesting experience but according to friends reviews we expected much more and were very disappointed. The only highlight were the pomene island stop that was great! Everything quite expensive and meals on deck 13 for ...
