Our family have traveled at MSC ships before from Durban South Africa but this last cruise was very disappointing. Boarding took 4 hrs of various queues at the new durban cruise terminal. Why did we choose MSC Orchestra. We had booked on the new MSC Europa ex Dubai to Europe, its maiden voyage but changed as the Orchestra itinerary from South Africa to Italy was what attracted us at it included a 10 day visit & safari within South Africa including visits to Johannesburg, Cape Town & Durban. Tropical beach break from Durban . Nice roomy cabin on 15 th deck cleaned and quality linen with excellent TV and wide range of DSTV channels and bar refilled daily. • We got the impression that the ship was over capacity, as it was almost impossible to get to the food stations or even get a table at the buffets at mealtimes, due to the sheer quantity of guests.

We have recently returned from the MSC Musica repositioning cruise from Durban South Africa to Venice. We have cruised with MSC previously so are perfectly aware of some of their 'foibles'. The main reason we chose this cruise was for the wonderful itinerary - we visited Reunion, Mauritius, The Seychelles, Aqaba, Suez Canal Transit, Katakolon, Kotor & Split.

We chose this cruise because of the destinations and the price was reasonable.
We cannot express in enough terms how disappointed we were with this ship.
We purchased an Aurea pkg. which included: priority boarding (that did not happen, we were kept waiting on the docks in the sun for nearly 25 mins.

We are frequent MSC cruisers
This was our 10th MSC cruise
And was the worst
Bar service was short staffed and very hard to get a drink
We waited to long
Guest service was rude and non helping
Just the general overall service was terrible
Could not get off at Pamome island and has always been like that for the past 10 cruisers
