We went on this cruise to satisfy my wife's wishes to go on a cruise.
Boarding the ship at Durban was a disaster.
Safety procedures the first day were very unprofessional compared with other cruises i have been on. Instructions were received in a crowed lounge with no intention to demonstrate an emergency drill next to the lifeboats which has been done on previous cruises I have been on. I ...
Cruised many times on msc and always wanted to go to this particular destination.
The embarkation and disembarkation was an absolute disgrace and most if not all the passengers complained. To be made to stand for more than two hours with small children is completely unacceptable. i didn't even see staff from the ship coming around to apologize for any inconvenience caused. I am not asking for ...
This was my 3rd holiday upon the MSC. Being from Durban, I knew the city well and getting to port was easy. The embarkation process left much to be desired though as queues were long and stagnant for hours. However, once aboard, our holiday started in grand style. The ocean view cabin was quite spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The closet had enough space to unpack. We explored the beautiful ship, ...
The Ship -Musica was absolutely stunning, the rooms felt a bit bigger and the decor was amazing. The lounges and theater just too beautiful. I just loved walking around and admiring the ship inside. The reception has a water fountain and a piano which is extremely relaxing & calming. (despite kids running around)
Dining- A la carte dinners were not to be missed not once except for the day in ...
I prefer longer cruises than the standard three or five day cruises. I really cherish the days at sea and both Mauritius and Reunion are fabulous destinations. The thing about an MSC Cruise that I appreciate is the activities planned and presented - you can be busy 24/24 or you can be as 'laid-back' as you choose. Overall the Staff are friendly, attentive and go out of their way to make your ...
A good break to destress and relax at sea. The on board entertainment was excellent and our assigned waiter for the El Poque restaurant second seating for dinner provided exceptional service - Hadi from Indonesia.
The food however was average on occasion, especially the Indian cuisine - was not well prepared.
Also, my other family members who traveled, had issues with their Balcony suites ...
We selected this 11 night cruise on the Musica as it was to celebrate my 50th Birthday with my husband, 2 children , one girlfriend, my mom and my husbands mom and I wanted to make it special for everyone and go were none of us had been before so I chose the Mauritius cruise for the 7 of us.
Easy in Board is amazing, it helped with the moms and kept us all sane at the same time-the process was ...
I have been on 3 cruises before this cruise. Both our previous cruises were "cold weather" cruises, one in Alaska and one in NZ. We were very excited about this cruise and I must say we did have an enjoyable time. However compared to the 2 other cruises the ship lacked "quality". The food was below average, especially in the fine dinning areas in the evenings. The entertainment was very good, ...
We have selected the cruise going to Mauritius and Reunion because we have never been there and believed we would score to see them both in one shot. The value for money and the experience worth it every cent. The clean cabins, spotless common areas and facilities made the voyage pleasant. The variety of foods and drinks was on a top level. Very helpful staff and prompt response from the crew made ...
We took this cruise because it was closest to home,it was our first with MSC, it was 11 nights, and had a minimum of 6 days at sea (this gives us time to explore the vessel and to relax), unlike shorter cruises where daily disembarkation is the order of the day.
The embarkation was a total disaster. We never experienced such a long wait on any of our previous cruises with Costa, P&O, and ...
